Leveling service - Against the rules?

Hey everyone.

 

Just found a page on Instagram that (as they claim) gets things done in game for players (e.g. getting legendaries) in exchange for real-life money. Is this against the rules? Should the page be reported to ANet? Thanks!

Yes RMT (real money transactions) are against the rules. Anyone using their services runs the risk of getting their account banned (or stolen by the people running the service).

You can report it if you wish although I doubt that ArenaNet would be able to do anything about it.

It is also against the rules to let others log in and play with your account and you could get banned for it and also your account could be stolen or emptied.

"Real money trading (RMT) and Fraud are both strictly against the rules and policies of Guild Wars 2."

"If we investigate an exchange and establish that funds originated from fraud or RMT, we will take action against all parties involved. That action, depending on the situation, could include removal of funds, account suspension, and/or account termination."
