Just ate food to trigger 3rd Fishing Mastery (+100 fishing power when nourished) which made it much easier and fished on a Grotto fishing hole in Saint Anjeka's Shrine Point of Interest. The PoI is south-southwest of Kropa Waypoint and east-southeast of Erys Oasis. To get there, scout the southwest borders of the swamp southwest of Temple of the Dredge to find a cave, go inside and find a broken stained glass window that will lead you to the PoI with several Grotto fishing holes. Also if you didn't know, you can check the Fishing Achievement section and see the requirements of catching certain fish such as fishing hole, time of day and bait.
