Anyway, it only affect WvW... Thought, going as it's going I'm affraid that Well and staff marks might end up hitting 2 targets as well in WvW. Afterall, wells have been meta in WvW since release so they must be OP and the way to necromancer's nerf OP aoe in WvW seem to reduce target hits from 5 to 2.

I can imagine how they'd turn that:

Necromancer have been a pilar of WvW since release of the game thanks to staff and Wells giving them a great amount of area denial and sustain. As we want to tune down area damage in WvW and the necromancer's sustain, we've decided to reduce the number of target hit by the following skills.

- Mark of blood: Reduce number of targets from 5 to 2. WvW only.

- Chillblains: Reduce number of targets from 5 to 2. WvW only.

- Putrid mark: Reduce number of targets from 5 to 2. WvW only.

- Reaper's mark: Reduce number of targets from 5 to 2. WvW only.

- Well of corruption: Reduce number of targets from 5 to 2. WvW only.

- Well of suffering: Reduce number of targets from 5 to 2. WvW only.

- Well of Darkness: Reduce number of targets from 5 to 2. WvW only.

Then you'd have the reactions:

- Necromancer sub-forum: "They destroyed the class!"

- sPvP subforum: "When will they finally nerf necromancer! I can't believe Anet didn't nerf them in this patch either!"

- WvW subforum: "Kick out whatever necro that don't play scourge!"

- Common necro hater: "Yet again, necro only got a tap on the wrist. Must be great to be Anet fovourite child!"

You'd say that having more than half the necromancer's aoe skills see their target reduced from 5 to 2 is just a "tap on the wrist"?

A firm tap considering the defense that necro has in the current state of balance, but then I also think that there shouldn't be any target caps in the game what so ever.
