Nerf Jagged mind or buff Parasitic Contagion (Necro) and Invigorating Precision (Thief)

Jagged Mind (Virt)

ADEPT TRAIT

- 3% Heal

- Bleed on Crits

 

Parasitic Contagion (Necro)

GRANDMASTER TRAIT

- 5% Heal

 

Invigorating Precision (Thief)

GRANDMASTER TRAIT

- 4% Heal

- 6% heal wih Fury

 

Why does cVirtuoso get free healing while other classes have to sacrifice major DPS traits competing in Grandmaster line as a tradeoff just to get healing?

If you played condi virtuoso during EoD beta it was basically a meme spec. The sustain was added on for PvP mainly, since in WvW the projectiles made it more or less unusable. Unlike power virtuoso which can power burst , condi virtuoso needs some sustain in order to actually work.

That said condi virtuoso could be overperforming a bit in PvE even after being cut to 37K. The devs might have overbuffed it and there is no reason for it to do as much damage as it does at range and with minimal effort. I could totally see it being cut to 34-35K overall, but it does heavily rely on regen to crit cap / duration cap so there's that reasoning.

Of all classes you really shouldn't be complaining about necro or thief sustain as the current meta harbinger and carrion specter have plenty of sustain. On top of that scourge has plenty of sustain without dropping much DPS.

The main places sustain such as that is warranted is on W7 QtP pylon where scourges and deadeyes are preferred. 250 ferocity loss (~17% crit) on deadeye isn't as much an issue when deadeye is 40K DPS benchmark and consists mostly of using skill 3.
