Best wvw specialization?

HI! I Quit the game 8 years ago but recently returned.

I used to love solo roaming in wvw and would like to have input of what mesmer spec is considered the best for that acitivity these days?

Chrono by far since Arenanet recently restored distortion.
Virtuoso bladesong "shatters" are projectile and so is dagger mainhand which makes it hard countered by projectile denial and reflects. Mirage only has one dodge in WVW and unless you are fighting players without cleanses or sigil of cleansing (which removes 3 condis in WVW) it is unlikely you will be able to burst them hard enough to kill in a reasonable time.

Generally, other classes are better for WvW. If you are set on playing a Mesmer toon in wvw vs just rolling an alt to WvW with I would say Infusion has good advice. That said, you may find other classes fit much better into WvW, at present.

If you have to play mes out of sheer passion, go in and expect to work more but get less.
