You can still get the achievement if one player relogs, they will then be able to hit the airship.

Tried twice three times: Two times me and one time someone from my guild. Doesn't work. And even if it did, that stuff should just getting fixed.

It definitely does work, as I've done it many times for pug groups. You need to stand near the edge of the platform and throw the grenade at the bow, the part sticking out at the front and not the body of the airship itself. You'll see a green circle on it when you have a valid target.

It is true: After leaving the instance and rejoining it, you can actually hit the last airship. But it did not count for the achievement (at least not for my team mates).

Just tried to help a group to obtain this achievement. Nothing changed. The last ship still has no collision. It changed after rejoining the instance. Yet, no one got the achievement.
