Paprikaya.3260 Posted May 1, 2023 Share Posted May 1, 2023 The pre-event with escorting the Dervs is bugged, they are standing at the Staging Platform and not de-spawning when it's time for the Death-Branded Shatterer, so no event starts. Several collections are dependent on killing the Death-Branded Shatterer, so no progress on those are possible. This is happening in other instances of the map as well, actually on most, the Dervs are not there at all. From looking in this forum I can see it has been an issue last year as well. Two of them is my trusty troll with their two accounts, and the third person probably didn't run into the issue or just always looks like this --> Anyway, I just managed to catch a map (on EU) where the escort event worked fine and the DBS did spawn. I'm jealous! 😅 Anyway, yeah, even if it sometimes does a non-bugged instance, it's clearly more bugged than not, at least enough to be disruptive. Hence the bug report. I'm Arilozen, and my guild is known for killing the DBS - we have over 570 kills, and we have seen EVERY bug this meta has. When the DERVs bug out the secondary Wurm escorts still spawn. If the wurm escorts are complete, the dragon will spawn quickly after - even without the DERVs being escorted. The event triggers at the turn of the hour, the same time as when the DERVs should spawn near the Pact Vanguard. The wurm escort consists of two events that start near Argon Garrison and Wurmhaven. Collect bone meal from the garrison to ward off the hungry friendly awakened and heal up the wurms. After that event's done you'll have a secondary defense event to take care of. Once that's complete, the wurms will appear at the staging grounds and Almorra will automatically start her speech, which is the start of the boss spawning.
