Is it just me or End of Dragons is not fun?

It was okay. To me, it was just kind of there. The story was just there: it wasn't bad, good, or even mediocre; it existed to carry the game mechanics and progression forward. There were some instances of feature bloat that kind of left a bad taste in my mouth, but I didn't feel an insane amount of hatred.  I couldn't do any better, so I have no room to criticize. I had no issues with the themes or anything like that. I felt emotions, so there's that.

The story was mostly exposition about dragon magic. And there was a LOT of it.

I did the metas once and never wanted to do them again. Trash mobs, escorting NPCs, a not so great boss at the end. Nowhere near the HOT metas. Or even some living world metas.

There is no game changing traversal method. Ziplines are cool but there are too few of them. You have to use the POF mounts, especially for horizontal mobility due to the map sizes. The maps are absolutely huge and they felt tedious to complete.

Anyway that's all my rant. Did you enjoy EOD?

I enjoyed it for the first month or so. By then I had found out how pointless the masteries were and how little replay value there was unless you were going for gen3 legendary weapons. Also I didn't care for fishing because it was not relaxing but a rather annoying mini-game. So yeah, that was it for me. I spend most of my time in WvW and HoT.
