The September 17, 2019 patch disabled the Glyph of Reaping in instances for players who are not instance owners. Sounds like introducing a bug to fix another bug. This is not a reason to disable the glyph of reaping on ore and lumber nodes in home instances. Uncool ANET. It does make the use of it pointless for the home instance owner, as they are there and waiting for the other to finish up. However, after 4 years, this patch needs repair itself: The instance owner, while sharing the home instance, promotes the player-helping player and friendly game that GW2 is, this patch negates those efforts, IMHO. Infinity.6927 Posted April 4 Share Posted April 4 I think it is particularly annoying that you can use all the other glyphs in someone else's Home Instance but not this one, and it does not come with a warning that it cannot be used in someone else's home when you buy it.
