arazoth.7290
Hi all, ima to share 5 different revenant support builds I have been using in RANKED and working quite well. Some work better then others, but even core to surprise is really good. Vindicator pure support: This one got the most pure healing wise in numbers, compared to others, 1077k was most Alliance stance / centaur stance. Invocation traitline: 1-1-1 Salvation traitline: 3-2-1 vindicator traitline: 2-2-2 hammer/staff => sigils of endurance + sigils of transference avatar amulet/ rune of the monk. Vindicator hybrid support: don't hold urn upkeep on the whole time, don't forget to denotate it for boons, healing and better energy management. Same with previous. archemorus leap + fire combo field also gives aura, not only mallyx. Best numbers had here 345k damage / 585k heal. Compared to the other 4 builds here, because it is hybrid it is little bit more self sustain so less healing to only allies. This is because use of red side archemorus heal over time + mallyx self heal. demon stance / alliance stance Corruption traitline: 2-1-3 Salvation traitline: 3-2-1 Vindicator traitline: 2-2-2 Mace/axe + staff => sigils of endurance +sigils of transference Sage amulet / rune of the traveler Herald offensive support: herald is pretty well known, but for this most important upkeeps which should be on at start of match and when you have time. Number 1 facet of light and then facet of elements + facet of darkness energy wise. Best numbers till now 325k damage + 516k healing. Most healing is going to allies and support same. Herald stance/ centaur stance Salvation traitline: 3-3-1 Invocation traitline: 1-1-1 Herald traitline: 2-3-2 mace/shield + staff => sigils of energy + sigils of transference sage amulet / rune of the flock Core revenant offensive support: Close to same numbers as herald. But you have more cc in here, boon removal/stealing. And because it is core you have higher energy uptime centaur stance / demon stance Corruption traitline: 2-1-3 Salvation traitline: 3-3-1 Invocation traitline: 1-2-1 mace/axe + staff => sigils of absorption + sigils of transference sage amulet / rune of the flock. Core revenant pure support: Damage is low here, same like core guard support and same as pure vindi support. On occasion you can critic people off with hammer for 6k total fast as additional damage if needed, while same time helping with ccing them for letting allies peel. This build is the best pure support build in here weirdly enough. It helps mitigating damage dealt to you and allies heavy, it can up go up till 85% reduction ( counting weaknes condis you apply in this calculation ). Don't be hesistant to use rite of the dwarf over dwarf road if stability isn't needed yet. 50% damage mitigation condi/physical alone is big + protection boons you give by many cleanses which adds 66% reduction physical without weakness applying. Because it is core you can use the elites better, since you have you more energy to play with. Most healing done in this ,846k in ranked. Centaur stance / dwarf stance retribution traitline: 1-2-2 invocation traitline: 1-1-1 salvation traitline: 3-3-1 staff/hammer => sigils of endurance + sigils of transference avatar amulet / rune of the flock. Side notes: hammer cc you can mostly get of in large groups stacked, but best is to to pre cc enemies with centaur elite skill to get 95% succes rate. hammer skill 2 isn't used much but so you have more energy for the others. hammer 3 can bait a lot of stuff and even baiting people of edges for not following you + opening traps. hammer 4 projectile denial you have to learn use well, to protect urself and allies when your other 2 projectile denials are not used. Use staff well for healing in dwarf too while same time using salvation traitline (generous abbundance). Generous abbundance in dwarf, use vengefull hammer upkeep skill on and off, when you have used other important cds first=> This for off healing and shoulnd't be used mainly only, since it will affect otherwise energy management too much and some cds can't be used then. centaur elite cc can also be use to hold people in your mace 2 burn field, cc them first then apply. Before match starts, use inspiring reinforcement with hammer 5 stun + hammer 3 => these are 2 blast finishers, which will grant because lightning combo field 16 sec swiftness duration. This can also be done during match itself and fight if the occasion is there ( isn't really part of rotation ). Read centaur empowerments + the salvation trait that grants boons to it aswell. The empowerments will affect your playstyle and how well you get those back by denotation, or F2 according to core or herald. Flowki.7194
Ive played the vindi support quite a lot, and was given a lot of good tips from OP. Im not amazing at it (it has a very high skill floor/celing), but its very strong against physical projectile, and very strong against condi. I found power dps to be harder to survive with than on tempest, but its more than doable if you react in the right ways. Its really hard to play on a mechanical level, which I like, and its very rewarding. The only real negative is that its difficult to play with around newer people to the game, or people who have no idea how the support works. This is mostly when using cent dome to protect from projectiles, or to clense, people will keep running out of range, forcing a lot of micro manedgement. However, with compitant team mates, and when played well, it genuinely feels stronger than temepst. I personally use sanctuary+health/shield on dodge, which is some nice extra healing+shielding for team mates and myself. Im not a pro at it like OP, so find the extra sustain for myself or team mates has saved lives many times. Its also nice to have the hp+shield on dodge when keeping dome active, so that you have some energy free sustain from dodges. More people should play this.. its high effort hight reward gameplay, the way it should be. Edited July 27, 2023 by Flowki.7194

They can't compete with the ones above, they are pretty mediocre in comparison with above. If kalla got more attention on their E-spec stance, then probably. But that's why I discluded it from the list here. And working with core stances alone on kalla, core does it better.

You used to be able to get 100% condition damage reduction with Dwarf but that was changed too.
