Why is Coalescence still unique?

For some unknown reason the raid ring is still unique while the wvw ring is not. So it is possible to achieve full legendary without stepping a foot into raids at all while it is not possible to do the same without wvw. Gifts of battle are not enough. It is the only legendary ring source for the 2nd slot.

It takes approximately 120h to earn enough pips for the wvw ring. For some unknown reason pips still scale with wvw rank to a point where you gain your first extra pips after ~100h of playtime and the pips after that require even more ridiculous time investment.

Now in order for me to max out pips at my rank i would have to spend 16h or more per week in that afk simulator mode. Could it be possible to remove the unique skillfact from coalescence which just takes 2h per week to max out on currency instead of the 16-20h in wvw? And if not why not?

And it is not possible to allow the same for coalescence?

Yes thats my point. There was a way to equip 2 legy wvw rings from day one while it was not possible to do the same with coalescence.

Result matters.

As said a million times before- WvW is only ‘afk’ if you choose to be. There’s a million things to do there, that can be done anywhere from individually to zerging. 
 

personal pet peeve aside- as mentioned above, because Conflux was able to be made multiple times. Coalescence was not, and would require a change in the underlying program to do so that would require a lot more player concerns to address than anything with Conflux- would you have to do the entire 3 tier collection piece over? Parts of it? Would it be retroactive? Or again, parts of it? Who is going to decide which is fair? What would be the change, if any, to the graphics of having four PvE legendary trinkets as opposed to 3? Would it be ‘fair’ to those who couldn’t do so, and got Conflux instead?

 

those sorts of questions, followed by the uproar of even just these forums over every time something like this is implemented (most recently see the changes to legendary runes/upcoming legendary relics) is why it hasn’t been changed
