Reset disciplines?

Recommended Posts

What are Disciplines? There's nothing called that in the game and without more context I'm not sure what you mean. I can think of several possiblities, like crafting professions, skill lines and specialisations in the training tab, masteries etc. but I don't know which one/s you're asking about.

Edit: Ok so apparently crafting professions are called disciplines in some places (as well as professions, trades and skills, it's inconsistent), so I assume that's what you mean. In that case I suspect the answer is because you can level all of them on one character and it only costs a small amount (50 silver if you've maxed it out) to swap between the active ones. Also they give a lot of XP very quickly and cheaply, so if you could train one then reset it and train it again it would basically be an infinite low-effort XP farm which would almost certainly get abused. (And that using up materials would mess with the whole economy.)

Gotcha, that is completely fair. Thank you for your reply!
