Make Seal Area unable to use Ground Targeted Skills?

So ground targeted skills are essentially interrupted (for 0.25s every 0.25s or something?) for the duration of sealed area for anyone inside?

Prevented. Similar to how Spellbreaker winds of disenchantment works but if you are an enemy stuck inside, for the duration you cannot cast Ground Target aoe spells on yourself within the bubble 🫧 and outside in cannot be casted on the bubble such as meteor shower. If the green ground target icon would touch the bubble it won't allow the cast from either in OR outside. Meaning you'd need to directly get out via stability on you or shadowstep out of it via placing the ground target green marker outside of it to get out.

Tldr. Ground target markers CAN NOT TOUCH the bubble inside it or outside it

Ah, so it means it's like a void area - just how we get random "no such path" 😄. Does it affect "unblockable" ground targeted ones too?

If so this creates a "safe space"; literally immune unless they enter the bubble for mele combat? It blocks projectiles and would prevent ground targeted skills (so no ranged attacks into the bubble), while if unfortunate enough to use a staff and be inside... (immediate thought is necro). Wouldn't it basically make a lot of weapon sets have void skills?

You can pre-set preparations and have it off cooldown again, so in effect could chain this to give 2 in a row. Fairly sure it'd allow for some pretty toxic gameplay of deadeyes and preparation being able to boon strip anyone approaching, invuln to all but unblockable projectiles? Chain the bubbles...

There's likely a lot of counters, but immediate thoughts are just "erm, I don't know every class /weapon set combo well enough, but this sounds a bit on the potentially exploitably overstronk side". Is it?

i would imagine unblockables would allow them to get in for fairness. having no counter against it would suck. stability on entering or leaving would negate being trapped. magebane and shadowsteps could helpif they were directly port backwards without ground targets
