Don’t you think that Support FB is overdue for better healing capabilities?

I mean the stab is very limited now and chrono can very much replace the role of the FB in a squad and they have better cc and boon strip. I see that healing stats on minstrel is no longer substantial as the heal is less than mediocre. 
 

nowardays, fb is very rare in wvw as people tend ro lean more to classes that have performance stats displayed on arc and to their squad’s battle report. 
 

Why not just spike the heal on tome 2 and staff? thoughts?

Aren't they making tome of resolve give heals on tome 3 and making tome 2 on justice be a blast finisher (might gen and karakosa)? I think they are aware of fb's lackluster spot and are working on it and not just in spvp

• (biggest mechanical problem left) The 3 different Tomes their Chapters cast time:

The cast time of chapters in general are too long, which makes bothersome playstyle. Most should be instant and a few with 1/4 sec cast time.

It would make it more reactive/dynamic for situations in need. Firebrand has 1 of the most if not most abilities to press and the many casting durations make it slow, even with quickness.

 

• Suggestion on Tome of justice Chapter 2:

•Chapter 2 Igniting Burst:

240 radius to 300 radius 

 

• Suggestion on Tome of Courage Chapters 1, 2:

•Chapter 1 Unflinching Charge:

make it also apply weakness condition to enemies 2-3 seconds, not lower or higher.

•Chapter 2 Daring Challenge:

2 seconds taunt instead of 1 second + increase radius to 300 radius.

As long taunt is applied to enemies, the enemies damage is reduced by 33%.

I wouldn't mind a bit more healing on FB, but I don't find outgoing heals too lacking with all the stab and protection we can yeet.  What FB really needs is more self sustain. The devs keep saying they want to push FB back into sPVP and make it viable again, but they don't address the real issue. Lack of personal defense and self sustain, of which healing can be a good part, are what hold FB back in small group/solo roaming in all game modes.

I think FB should be shitting out way more self aegis than what it is currently capable of. Aegis would obviously fit the theme of guardian and making it self only would keep it from getting broken. Until someone makes some side nodder kitten build that spams aegis but well get to that bridge later.

•That's why some of those suggestions for the Tome of Courage Chapters 1 and 2. Some longer cc + damage reduction allies deal on chapter 2, 300 radius for more reliable hit too then 240.

And adding weakness condi appliance to enemies with Chapter 1.

This helps with damage reduction + more sustain/support.

Then you would have a good tome dedicated to the damage dealing, another in support by healing/cleanse and a more well rounded versus preventing damage/reduction support.

As for the healing, is actually more then fine after next patch when chapter 3 gets probably some nice aoe ranged burst heal. Adding more healing is a plaster on the other problems and healing might get nerfed if they buff the healing more after next patch.

•In general Tome chapters need lower cast time some instant and noting above 0,5 sec cast time.

too much overloading aegis will become obnoxious and people will rage on forums making a team perma with almost perma blocks 😅. And then nerfs prob come in too many different directions where it isn't needed.

Imo the chapters are getting closer to finished.

Even if they think instant cast is too fast for it. They should though have maximum 1/2sec cast time or 1/4sec cast time.

Buffing quickness further up in traitlines is unneeded, it is merely a bandage on the problem that keeps occuring bc of it.

 

Aside that, Tome of Courage chapter 1 and 2 need this suggested tweak. Because atm these feel after upcoming update soon, the only 2 chapters that are lacking and not worth using compared to the others.
