One would be a 1-hander Weapon (Lance) the other a 2-hander Weapon (Spear) Both share the same Skin Pool from the Water Spear. Professions that use the Lance would have the stats on the weapon automatically adjusted to 1hander status, and vice verse for professions that use Land Spears for two hander stats. takes some coding work, but this way we can get both the Spear and Shield concept used by Paragons, as well as getting the Pike/Polearm seen in the art as well.
