Why are non of the guardians pistol skill projectiles

and why does it have a symbol that activates on projectile..

why dont you shoot the symbol underneath the enemy..

1/4/5 are projectiles and can be reflected.  2 is a laser beam....

guardian symbols can be enhanced by traits in radius/healing/boons etc so it makes sense to put it under yourself since 99% bosses are fought in melee range.

whole point of that symbol is to give BURNING to your projectiles aka skills 1 and 4. (but it works on ALL yours attacks inside symbol)

I think the theory is that the guardian pistol projectiles are bolts of magic, rather than physical projectiles that can pick up poison and other effects from fields.

The symbol being planted at your feet on a weapon that's intended for range, when a significant portion of your damage requires the target to be in the symbol, is silly, though. As is re-introducing "detonate a moving projectile" mechanics that were removed from basically everything else years ago for a reason.
