I keep zooming out

I like to have oversight during boss battles so I zoom out all the way. But the game keeps zooming back in and I don't like that. Is there a way to keep zoomed out until I manually zoom in again?

Unless using any addons, like "Tyrian QoL" (blish hud), theres no option for that in the game sadly

   Same here, been annoying me for quite a while Is this the game doing this ?? 

   I was starting to believe it was an issue with my mouse and changed to a new one of the same model,  I even got into my Windows registry and changed  the rotation of my mouse wheel to opposite Default because I though I must be turning my mouse wheel slightly when clicking "middle mouse button" which I have bound to "target enemy"   but unless its my imagination it is still doing it.

Nah, this has been in the game since forever (I've started playing around 2013-1014 and this zooming in on the bosses has already been there). There is nothing you can do to stop it, only to vigorously scroll to zoom out again, about 5 sec into the battle it will give up on zooming you in and you are good. I like to think that at least one third of the scroll mileage on my mouse was solely caused by this irritating  issue.

Would be nice if they resolved it somehow.
