Oglaf.1074
So basically I turned my Frostfang into something else for a while, then I wanted to turn it back so I transmoged it to Frostfang - which ended up labelling it as "Transmoged Frostfang" which bugs me enormously.Any way to revert it back to vanilla Frostfang? Pretty Pixie.8603
If it was an ascended piece you could change the stats to reset the discription, but since it's a legendary I think you're out of luck. If it really bugging you that much, contact support, and ask them to swap your frostfang for a new one. If you have OCD, that might be worth mentioning. Danikat.8537
If it's any consolation that footnote in the item's description is the only difference. In every other way it is exactly the same weapon as it was before. But unfortunately there's no way to change it - once an item has been transmuted it will show that even after it's switched back to the original skin. Oglaf.1074
Well that sucks. Thankfully so does Frostfang’s visuals. Barring any kind of graphical overhaul, I’ll probably transmog it into something else again. Now I know not to do it to any good-looking Legendaries in the future at least. If they do overhaul Frostfang... boy is it going to annoy me then though...!
Land of Cheese.2584
This problem really bothers me, too. It's why I won't skin any of my legendaries at all. It's why I don't like skinning my ascended (but end up doing anyway). I'd love for Anet to check if what you are transmuting an item to is the original skin, and then reset the description accordingly as part of the transmute. Very surprised and annoyed when it didn’t...
