Probably just something like this http://gw2skills.net/editor/?vZAQNAU4YnkFD1FjFOBOOBUGjFaCTLAMhiAb5phzei/XWMbmA-jRRBABXt/o8zMlg4pLAgnAAlq/AA- .(left out the agony-res on purpose, should be self-explanatory).

Grab as many damage increase/multipliers you can find and go ham, the rest should come from your teammates anyway.

Good luck finding an open party that wants you though. To my experience, Deadeye's aren't really popular in any circles, which is just the typical thief stigma.

Basilisk venom ftw baby

As long as you're not running with total elitists you can 100% make deadeye work in any content imo...same as with all the other "trash can specs" in this game ;)

There are 2 builds you can go for. They are very similar, but yet they function in a different way:

1) Sniper. This is your more regular DE build. Works great on static foe's and bosses. Build up Malice and fire Death's judgement as often as possible: http://gw2skills.net/editor/?vZAQNAU6an8MB9FjFOBOOB8PhFaCbLPNc2TaBgJUEg/XWMbmA-jhBBABYt/o8LPdDnpEsS1fC4JAAwFBgMA6jB-e

2) Quickshot. This is more of a rogue gunslinger build. Does a bit less damage, but its superior in encounters where you need to be more mobile. Basically build up malice, spam unload, and trigger Revealed training as much as you can: http://gw2skills.net/editor/?vZAQNAqaUnsMBtFjFOBOOBUGjFaCjPYmMfmaBgJUEwLL8FKDA-jhBBAB5pPoS1fOTJIW7PK/C4JAAwpAgMA6jB-e

From my experience, Rifle builds fall apart in Fractals due to the number of mechanics you have to avoid, and much, much worse when you have Instabilities like Flux Bomb or Last Laugh. When the build relies heavily on spamming Death's Judgment for its damage, a skill that requires you to be Kneeling, on top of the fact that Kneeling costs the very same resource you need for Death's Judgement... Safe to say, those pretty numbers you get from the Training Golem is not feasible in most Fractals.

That's interesting. I've never been able to get a dual pistol build to do "a bit less damage" than a rifle build. My numbers have always been 10k-ish apart, even with a build like the one you suggested. What numbers were you pulling?

I see a lot of people are down on Deadeye, does anyone know if ArenaNet is planning any changes? You add in a new spec and everybody says its sucks, lol. Maybe you take a look under the hood.

I was away about 2 years, and recently returned. One of the reasons was a rifle spec, and I like it but its weak. Would like to try a rifle/ pistol/pistol build. The pistols for when I need to move, and the rifle on a boss for example. Just have to make it work. Should I be doing a power build for something like this, for PvE only, open world, fractals, maybe a raid etc. Thank you
