Whenever I kill something on my Ranger using a Greatsword, both the Greatsword and the Staff-Master Achievements Progress. And sometimes only one of the Achivements progresses.I'm on a plain old Ranger (no Druid/Soulbeast) using Longbow and Greatsword as weapons.Edit: I think it might have something to do if the pet hits/kills the enemy (i was using the Owl during my tests)Here is a small video showing the bug. And sometimes only one of the Achivements progresses.I believe this is because the pet kills count for staff or something; Necro Reaper shroud skills count as hammer kills because ... the game is complicated, and it's kind of a hack, I guess. :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Mesmers have it especially difficult because phantasms count for a weapon other than the one that summoned them. The good news is that on the whole, this makes some achievements easier to obtain for most players. (The bad news is that it feels random sometimes.)
