Bug on Verdant Brink flax patch

I gather the 8 flax nodes patch under the frogs village with a glyph of bounty.

With it, I sometimes gather more than once form a node. Except one.

I noticed that the last node I gather from that patch NEVER give me an extra strike.

I tried to change the order in which I gather them, but it's always the same thing. The last node (8th one) I gather never give me an extra strike.

That is the behavior for all node patches. Including each pair of winterberry bushes.

It actually goes a bit further than that. With 8 nodes, if you get the additional chance to gather on nodes 1-7 and you don't gather it, once you gather from the 8th node the extra gather from any other node in the same patch will also disappear.
