It was so much fun. Was the same with 2v2. Things are working much differently. I was only doing soloQ, still reached plat (title tier). I personally think it was too short.

Anet should remove organised queuing from Ranked, leave it in Unranked and AT

Was more fun than 2 vs. 2 - for me. I'm a low/mid-tier-skilled player when it comes to fighting and in conquets I can manage mid-tier because of paying attention to the map and the secondary mechanics. 3 vs. 3 gives some good small-scaled team combats (more teamplay than in 2 vs. 2) while not too zergy.

And I get the feeling that it helped me a lot for conquest where I usually avoided combat a bit. (Only running to cap and then getting killed while trying to delay. Now I try try to fight more in 2/3 vs X - if not outnumbered by more than 1.)

For 2 vs. 2 I really only did it for the chests and 3 vs. 3 trying to take it more serious. Trying to improve at combat. Currenct conquest season i'm in placement matches at 4 wins (4 of 4 played matches) ... and I usually lose the first 3-4 and then some win ... ending up with 3 wins 7 losses in placements or so.
