Hard Light Arena Bug?

So I posted this in the bugs forum, but perhaps some of you have noticed this as well and know what is going on here.The boons for Hard Light Arena are not being properly applied.

Below 50% Heat with 0 Concentration

  • Fury is being correctly applied.
  • Regeneration is being applied every pulse, but at reduced duration.
  • Protection is being correctly applied.

Above 50% Heat with 0 Concentration

  • Fury is being correctly applied.
  • Regeneration is applied every pulse, but at reduced duration.
  • Protection is only applied on 10 out of the 12 pulses.

Below 50% Heat with 1201 Concentration

  • Fury is being correctly applied.
  • Regeneration is applied every pulse, but at reduced duration.
  • Protection is only applied on 6 out of 8 pulses.

Above 50% Heat with 1201 Concentration

  • Fury is only applied on 11 out of 12 pulses.
  • Regeneration is applied every pulse, but at reduced duration.
  • Protection is only applied on 7 out of 12 pulses.

This was all tested in the Special Forces Training Area.

There is a limit on how many "Applications" of any boon you can give. You cannot infinitely stack a boon until it gives you infinite duration, there is always a limit to that, based on how many applications of said boon you give.

Duration-stacking effects have a maximum number of stacks: 3, 5 or 9 (depending on the effect, see list below). Attempts to further stack the effect will be nullified

That's what happening to the skill Hard Light Arena, it constantly pulses boons on targets inside it, but since you cannot give more than a set number of applications on each boon, the duration will clash into a hard cap, rendering the last pulses ineffective.

But that doesn't really explain why Regeneration is applied every pulse at reduced durations. Also, the wiki says Protection will stack in duration up to a multiple of 5 times. With Hard Light Arena, Protection is applied on the first 7 pulses, pauses for a couple pulses, and then is applied on the 10th pulse. This seems inconsistent with how Protection is supposed to stack according to the wiki.

You're right, you get less regeneration than protection with hard light arena.

Reading the wiki however, mentions that the duration of regeneration "pauses" when you receive a new stack from a source with higher heal power. I haven't found the reason of the hard light arena thing but must be somethign related to the strangeness of regeneration application.
