Soulbeast Rune Active Pet Clarification

Recommended Posts

SOULBEAST RUNE: "When you have an active pet, gain condition damage equal to 7% of your power. When you do not have an active pet, gain toughness equal to 7% of your condition damage."RANGER RUNE: " +7% damage while you have an active companion."

Rune of the Ranger's 6th effect applies when non ranger npc summons are in effect (elementals, minions), but since the language is different on Soulbeast rune, has anyone tested/confirmed if you get the condition damage bonus on any class other than ranger?

Anyone has the answer to this? I really would like to know. Can you use the soulbeast rune with a necro?

If I remember correctly it only works with ranger pets. But if you want it for the condition damage you can use the Rune of the Renegade. It has ferocity instead of power but has flat +7% Condition damage.

The elite specialistation runes fit with the theme of the specialistion but you can use them on any class.
