I was fine with the direction he was going with it, so long as the idea was done through completion, rather what happened from what I have seen and read was he did the blanket baseline, got one or two small updates in but the skills team didn't want to help at all, so he was stuck only being able to mess with numbers and not skill splits or changes etc and then was moved to help on the expac and we have seen nothing since. I have not been keeping up as of late, but if he did get let go, it's news to me. However, it seemed at least as an outsider looking in that anet hobbled the effort before it even started and didn't give even remotely the resources needed after YEARS of neglect to the game modes.
