[Video] Weaver vs Scourge / Cellofrag vs Hollts : The Duel.

Hi everyone.


Here is a duel I had versus a famous necro/reaper/scourge : youtube : HOLLTS.It was really hard and close : final score is 3-3 !

This video was made BEFORE Scourge nerf.
As you can see my sword weaver has a lot of sustain/cleanse/ my DPS is low but enough to manage some kills while surviving to massive burst conditions & boon corruption.

My build is in my previous video, only 2 change : Swapping Last Weaver Trait to more condiclean, instead of Barrier on Dodge + using the cantrip « Purify Fire » to clean more condition.

Great video, I'd be REALLY interested to see these same duels post nerf just to illustrate the actual effects of all of this.

All preenerf scourge really had going for it was the size of AoE was about the size of a capture point. The sustain is terrible, the burst damage is easily avoided, and the ranged defenses and stability are nonexistent.

I moved to playing stronghold this offseason, and scourges (even before the nerf) are godawful terrible there. If you see them on your team, your going to lose. The map emphasizes mobility and Cc and the scourge has neither. The class can't even kill door breakers quickly,

It's a bit of an exageration imo.A good player will do great thing with scourge. A bad player... Well, bad. But still better than a bad weaver...

problem is holts is a metawhore and isnt actually that good...just very well practiced. at least in my opinion.

Too be fair, you would have likely beaten him more if you didnt actually use the sword, as sad as it is, Sword is kinda rubbish :/If you went Scepter/Focus. You would have a much easier time. Assuming that you are good with the Scepter, im not. I suck at Scepter on Ele :/

Holts is good on meta builds, but its kinda hard to be bad on them because they are that easy to play.

I know, Sword was probably the worst weapon to fight him because I had to go melee. But it was challenging :)

Q_QI'm not much better than the average reaper/scourge but I'm not a metawhore :( Power reaper main maaaaaan

Could you do some fights again power reaper vs this ele build?
