Fix-r-Upper Ascended Hammer , build limitations

I just completed the Fix-r-Upper Achievement (Specialization Collection). Among the precursors are a Plated Hammer (rare) and a Machined Hammer (Exotic). Both have the entire spectrum of builds available upon initiation. The Fix-r-Upper (Ascended) version only has 3, Berserker, Knights and Wanderer's. Is this an oversight ? Alternatively , because it was primarily earned in the Path of Fire regions where I believe the Wanderer's build was introduced, is there a special meaning for these three builds ? I am aware of using the Mystic Forge to change builds. Thank You :-)

all specialisation (collection) weapons have only 3 stats to chose from in their ascended form.why those stats, and not others who cares at that point

as you said throw the shit in the mystic forge and it's gg (unless some annoying materials are needed like the diviner serpetine jewels etc)
