Character Selection Screen Background

What you guys think about changing the character selection screen background based where you left your character parked? For example: if you left your character parked in a core map it will have the core background, parked in HoT map will have HoT background, in PoF, PoF background and so on.

It would be nice, but they've stuck with the changing backgrounds since GW1 based on the release edition.

I'd rather they use those resources for bigger things, tbh.

They should add something like this, I'm personally not a fan of the PoF background we currently have, HoT was better, surely it can't be that much work to allow us to choose which one we want to use.

Why not change the background to whatever map your character is on? Parked on Verdant brink? Separate background. Auric basin? Another one. LA, and other cities their own, etc...

I mean, if you go for background changing, why not go all the way? :wink:

I doubt we'll ever see it, but I like the idea of backgrounds reflecting the zone where characters last logged out.

I rather just be able to go back to the HoT background.Yeah yeah... I'm not a bright colours person, but I also don't like that red glow on all my characters now. Original GW2 when I played that free weekend had a natural light to it so I could've seen how my character look and then HoT was the same exact lighting. Why PoF get this red shading nonsense?Please give me back the normal lighting.
