Weekend events once per month

Whether or not you liked the no downstate week, I think most people would agree that for the first few days at least, it was a nice change.That's why I think it would be fun to have weekend events once per month. Friday Saturday Sunday, then back to standard WvW on Monday. One idea I had was that the players on a border with a negative KDR in a skirmish, explode into salt on death. Silly stuff like that I think would be fun for a few days.Other ideas:all cooldowns are reduced by 50%jump height and dodge distance increased by 300%warrior bubble cooldown reduced by 90%mesmers can use moa 5 times before triggering cooldown

Basically the crazier the better. It is just a game after all (:

I love crazy. How about a “Wild Skill Day”. A day where your skills aren’t exactly what you’re expecting. Press F1, you get your 2nd utility skill. Want to use your Elite skill? Press it, and out pops your healing skill. Oh, you want to use Shield 5 to block? Well guess what, now you tried to Shield Bash that pew pew ranger. Random skill usage, yes!

Crazy, huh?How about 1hp only weekend, and everytime you rally, 1 enemy near you are downed? Now that something i wanted to see.

I agree more weekend events creates new energy and enthusiasm. I loved the golem event. Many cool events like new world bosses on maps even bosses spawning in the keeps etc

the real way to get scourge out of the meta

I'd prefer to see regular weekend events tbh, maybe on rotation or something, just to shake things up a bit.

I would like to see some events like:

• no mount in wvw
• no gliding (if you glide you die eg in wvw)

maybe as Wekend events or as events like core only, steel a skill, golem take less supplys, that been as weekly events.

That'll be funny for about 10 mins into reset and then everyone won't bother to log on till it's over.
