Deadeye Rune Recipe Not Unlocking Rune

I did the event in Desolation to get the recipe and noticed that, unlike its other elite classmates, the recipe itself didn't have the tooltip advising what crafting profession was needed when you highlight your mouse over it. Furthermore, upon consuming the recipe, I was not able to see the rune as a craftable item on any of my toons that had any of the 3 armor crafting professions. Oddly enough, the collection for the Deadeye's Rifle (Cursed Flintlock?) shows that I have obtained the recipe.

It's the same issue for me. It's pretty annoying, and I guess this is more common than they realize. There isn't even a wiki page for the recipe.

The wiki page for the rune is there though I doubt anyone's gone through to populate information about its recipe. Anyways, that's done by the wiki community and no by the devs I imagine.

I also am missing my rune after learning the recipe. This is kind of a big deal since after that Griffon I would like to make my rune rather than pay 79s for it.

I have exactly the same issue, and so far it appears to be a problem only with the rune in question. This issue still exists. Just completed the even and used the recipe. No run of the deadeye unlocked.

Are there any news on the issue in question?Nothing related was included in the last patch's notes, Customer Support don't reply to tickets, and checking with my Leatherworking crafter (hoping for a stealth fix) the rune's recipe is still absent.

Haven't heard anything either. I made a new post that mentioned a few other bugs and threw the deadeye rune issue in there as well.

I ran into the same issue last night, and I checked gw2 efficiency and the recipe doesn't even exist locked or unlocked. I repeated the event in desolation several times last night and I didn't get another recipe. Probably due to the fact that I already unlocked in my collection and is now out of the loot table for me. I'm glad to see it wasn't just me. Hopefully Anet will get this taken care of and we can all make our runes soon.

Supposedly, recipe bugs are supposed to be fixed in the next patch/update? So yeah....I guess we just hold out.

Getting another copy won't help anyway. The bug is a result of the recipe sheet teaching a currently non-existent recipe.

Make the 6th bonus do something useful while you're at it, like a range-based percent damage modifier. Thanks!

Adding another to the list of those missing the unlock. It definitely unlocks fine in the Deadeye collection, but nothing for crafting. Wish I had known this was an issue before consuming it... Though I'm confused how there are over 500 of them on the TP if the recipe doesn't exist.

You can get the rune from WvW

I did the event several times in a row, and the recipe didn't drop, which means I can't get the Cursed Flintlock.

That is a completely different problem from the one mentioned in this thread.
