Do unblockable attacks soak up Aegis?

For example if I use phase traverse and then my opponent puts up aegis and i hit him once. Will I land the damage and remove the Aegis Buff or does aegis remain because the attack wasn't blocked?

Aegis remains as far as Thieves unblockables like Flanking strike and Larcenous Strike go, wouldn't surprise me at all if this was not the case for other professions, I actually didn't really notice, especially regarding your specific example, because the professions are usually able to spam multiple attacks and hits at the same time so Aegis just disappears.

However regarding its description and the way it behaves with thieves unblockables, it most likely remains.

When I use Axe 4 on my Rev against a Guardian with Aegis up, the skill lands but Aegis still remains. I was dueling a DH for a bit earlier today and this was the case each time. I don't believe they were reapplying Aegis. I would imagine this is the case for any unblockable attack.

Unblockables do not remove aegis.

It just ignores blocks the same way you don't interrupt a warrior's Shield Stance when you hit him with unblockables, it still works if he gets hit by anything else in it's duration.

Can confirm phase traversal unblockable attacks do not break aegis.
