Precursor Crafting: Stuck on Tier 2 crafting. [Achievment]

Greetings all,

I'm currently trying to craft the precursor to The Predator. I've gone through the first Tier crafting and have unlocked the Vol. 2 achievement track.

From the remaining trophies in the picture I need recipes and give the crafted items from the new recipes them to a Master Huntsman NPC and get respective trophy. This is where I'm having issues. I cannot for the life of me figure out how/where exactly I'm supposed to get these. I'll show a series of pictures to show where I'm looking and hopefully they'll give more information. I'm going to use use Basic Mithril Rifle as an example. I have same issue with the others.

Chat Box I see from NPC when looking for new recipes. Note I've already crafted the forge tools. The menu before that just has that and 'let me see your wares' which also doesn't have any recipes. https://imgur.com/K4zhgDv

Other notes: I have tried talking to a different huntsman NPC. I am a grandmaster. From way back before HoT I unlocked the Perfected Rifle Skin from a PvP reward box. I don't know if that has anything to do with it. But here's a picture of the skin. It wasn't actually a precursor just a weapon with the skin. https://imgur.com/EPc6oqp Grandmaster Hobbins also doesn't have anything regarding these recipes.

It's been a while since I crafted a precursor the last one was the axe, but I may be missing something obvious. I've run out of paths. Let me know if there's any other relevant information that I can provide. Thanks for the help.

When you were talking to the Master Huntsman, did you talk to him beyond just pulling up the options you posted in the first image?

It sounds like from the wiki page that you just need to talk with him which indicates going through the options as far as you can go.

I've not done this precursor so I can't say for certain, though.

Yea, I didn't show it, but I have gone through all of the option windows.

Sounds like a bug as you can see all you need to do is talk and go through the options and the recipe unlocks.

(this is for Twilight) but should be no different.

Ah. This does seem that way. I'll be sure to report this as a bug and see what comes of it. Thank you for the reply. I'll post as soon as this is resolved.

and? Clicking on either of those should give options for learning the recipes(something like "can you teach blah blah blah") even if you already know the recipe.

Back when material prices were different a friend of mine actually learned the recipe on every character just to use crafting to do some fast leveling.

According to the wiki, what you want is The Predator Vol. 2, which is purchased from GM Hobbs.

[solved] Apparently I had to re-buy Tier 1 forging equipment. Everything reset after that. Able to get recipes again.
