Downfall.4613
Have you equipped the weapon?
The Analogue Kid.3896
As per all other weapons i salvaged it which should unlock the skin. I payed a lot of gold for the weapon. This has to be a bug.
OVI.9106
I have the same issue, did you find any solution?
Quarktastic.1027
As far as I know, if you salvage the weapon, it will unlock the skin, but it won't unlock the item for the collection. You need to either equip it, or right click and choose "add to account wardrobe"
Illconceived Was Na.9781
Contact support. Salvaging does not work for collections, nor does using the mystic forge. You have to first bind the weapon and then you can salvage or forge.According to ANet, this is an intended feature and it has been a consistent part of the game for ages. Those are the facts, even though I think it's unnecessarily confusing and an arbitrary inconsistency: unlocking for the wardrobe isn't meaningfully different to the player from "adding to a collection;" it's just how the devs decided the mechanics ought to work. OVI.9106
Thanks Quarktastic.1027 and Illconceived Was Na.9781 for your answers. I used the mystic forge without equiping it or adding to the wardrobe :(, 30g to the mystic toilet haha. Won't happen to me again. Thanks again.
