  1. but i want my transmuted legendaries to be reverted to their vanilla state/just out of the mystic forge by applying the original skins on them. And I wanted my warrior to have no crafting disciplines, but I accidentally clicked "make me an armorsmith" while trying to buy stuff from the armorsmith NPC (I often use crafting stations as banks). So now she's an armorsmith. Also, my Eternity is transmuted.
  2. Use the search bar at the top of the window to find what you're looking for.
  3. I appreciate seeing the full fight. Heavily edited roaming vids tend to get a bit stale (for me) because you never know how fights truly go thanks to the edits. Whenever I see someone post a roaming montage I just kind of roll my eyes and ignore it, because once you've seen one, you've seen them all. They edit out any fights they don't win easily, and they dub over the whole video with a cringey and/or meme soundtrack.
  4. As someone who doesn't have these things, but would like to have these things, I'm all for reducing the ridiculous grind a little. I don't have the kind of free time it takes to finish diamond every week at 4 pips per tick. And considering I only gain 10-20 ranks a week (depending on what servers we're up against -this past week was pretty bad for WXP) getting to 2k from my meager 92, will take literal years.
  5. If you're getting hit for 25k from death's judgment, then you should probably stop playing glassy builds. Granted, I don't bother dueling thieves (or mesmers) because they simply have too many escape tools and are generally a waste of time to fight. But I've never been hit for 25k by anything.
  6. As someone who has rarely stepped foot into WvW until recently, I'm in the opposite situation. Getting the mats for the rest of the gifts is easymode. But getting the wvw rank/skirmish tickets for warcry is going to take me a year or more.
  7. haven't you heard? daredevil steal range nerf means teef is so very underpowered atm you couldn't even kill an ambient with it.someone didn't get the memo. I dunno. I lost to a daredevil earlier today. But he +1'd me while I was fighting a herald.
  8. I'm pretty sure Hizen can make soloing bounties and meta events look easy with any profession. Take a look at his most recent weaver video...and the spellbreaker video before that...and the firebrand video before that.
  9. My revenant also wears the houndskin mantle.
  10. Sounds like you need a better keyboard then. Most office/membrane style keyboards only have 2-3 key rollover. Fine for typing, terrible for gaming.
  11. A healer and a chrono makes T4 fractals easier. That's all there is to it. I've done T4s with 5 DPS specs that have gone fairly smooth, but more often than not, that isn't the case. I'm not a raider, but I always try to land a group that has at least a healer (druid/tempest/renegade {though I've never encountered a healing renegade}) A good healer can carry some pretty bad groups.
  12. Not necessarily. In most cases the most expensive part would be the precursor. The overall cost to forge it into the Legendary weapon, regardless of which one it is, would be about the same. Well, according to the API, it costs roughly 900 gold to forge the Moot with the crafted precursor. I don't know how buying the precursor factors into that cost (since you can only craft one precursor) but almost 2000 gold to craft two of the Moot sounds a lot more costly than crafting a second legendary that you already own.
  13. If you already have one of the Gen 1 legendary weapons, the cheapest option would be to make a second one of those...wouldn't it? (except in the case of eternity)
  14. Relaxing in a scenic locale Trying to figure out how gliding works.
  15. If a person hasn't gotten the griffon because he/she thinks 250g is too much, but thinks spending 400 gems on a random mount skin isn't too much, I suggest that person rethink their priorities. The griffon is a solid gameplay upgrade. It even unlocks two new adventures in each PoF map (once you complete the second mastery). In my opinion, people who are considering buying these mount skins, but not considering unlocking the griffon should instead reconsider unlocking the griffon rather than complain about getting a griffon skin they can't use. Not sure that I understand the logic there. Spending money or time to get something you dont want or dont think is worth the expense is somehow better than buying something you like? I detest coconut, but love pineapple. Should I rethink my spending habits about spending money on pineapple rather than coconut, even if coconut is cheaper? So you're saying you hate the griffon, but you love gambling for mount skins? Because this has nothing at all to do with coconuts and pineapples. If someone is that adamant about not getting the griffon, but still wants to gamble for mount skins, then they need to accept the fact that they have a roughly 20% chance of getting a skin they can't use. I've spent thousands of gold on legendary weapons, armor skins, outfits, mini pets, and other vanity nonsense. But I have never spent 250g as fast as I did when I unlocked the griffon. And I don't regret it. That 250g could have earned me at least 5 ascended weapons for my alts, or 3-4 pieces of ascended armor, or any number of useful account upgrades. I chose the griffon because the griffon itself is a useful account upgrade. Maybe not as useful as say, a couple of extra bag slots, but far more useful than a cosmetic skin.

  17. I personally like a handful of the skins, and I got one of that handful with one of the two licenses I purchased. The second license gave me a griffon skin I wasn't particularly fond of, but I've been using it anyway because it has four dye channels. I do feel like 400 gems is a bit costly for a 1 in 30 chance, but never receiving duplicates is quite a bit nicer than most loot box systems. I can convert some gold every now and then, and get a new skin every time I buy a license. For now though, I'm shifting my focus away from Fashion Wars, and more toward account/character upgrades. Especially mind boggling though, are the people who complain about getting a griffon skin, and then say that they never intend to get the griffon. Unless you have a phobia of griffons, I don't see any reason to abstain from getting it. I assume that for most people, it's the gold cost, as the rest of the collection is pretty tame. I strongly urge those people to convert those gems that would have been spent on mount skin gambling, and put the resulting gold toward unlocking that griffon.
  18. There would still be problems but it would solve a biggie. Right now this can 'give' you a skin for a mount you did not have. So if you never intend to get the griffon but unlock a griffon skin that is 400 gems up in smoke. Honestly, if you don't have the griffon, you should convert that 400 gems to gold and put it toward getting the griffon instead of gambling on mount skins.
  19. I managed to not die at all in that story instance. Were you trying to melee the boss at the end?
