You could try to Roll back to 1709 or before 1803, but you'll need to do it asap, as your windows 10 will delete the old files soon.

As I mentioned in the other thread, before they merged it. You can try and roll back to an earlier Win10 build by using this: http://www.thewindowsclub.com/go-back-to-an-earlier-build-of-windows-10 or by finding a legit .iso with an earlier build, if it's due to the April 2018 update, which is in my case true. After that to avoid updating to the April 2018 update, you have to defer important updates in Settings> Updates & Security panel > Advanced Options. But if your windows has updated recently, it will only keep the old files for 7 days or more, until it gets deleted.

It is possible, perhaps even likely, that whatever corruption occurred has also had negative effects on other system components. I'd strongly advise ensuring that your drivers are up to date, if relevant the dedicated GPU is being used, etc. No, it was a fresh install and everything is installed correctly. I did roll back to win10 1709 and my miniumum frame rate is a little better though.

Yeah beware of your game potentially freezing if you alt + tab too much, at least that's what happens to my game sometimes.

I now get 19fps with vsync on in large scale wvw fights, since the last windows update, which was forced on me, because of some kind of boot file corruption.It's pretty hard to play when it drops that low from 60fps, especially when you have so many player models and effects going off.

WvW now drops to 21 FPS for me, when zergs clash, it might be because of the new scourge effect though.

Thats going to ruin wvw for a lot of people, this essentially makes it meaningless as there is no reason to play for your server. No reason to defend, upgrade, scout, or do anything. It will basically turn into an eotm style ktrain. Why wouldn't you want to scout, defend, and upgrade for your guild and for your Alliance?With links it feels out of your control and pointless as it is. Besides that, PPT has been pointless for the most part since launch, apart from when and whether you had server pride, nowadays you have kdr and ppk to brag about aswell. Once you realize its playing so many tireless hours, doing these chores for little to no reason, it's more fun focusing to have fun with a group of players/friends when you get the time to play, rather than burn yourself out on something so imbalanced. I wish wvw was as populated and more competitive like it used to be, but it isn't happening with links or the old system.

Do you mean text is still unreadable in1440p? Because I see the same issue, unless I switch back to native or 4k resolution instead.
