I'm looking at the relics in the box I got and they're utterly worthless. They're either for different classes or proc off a buff/debuff something I don't really do.

Oh god, I just saw the Essence of Gold. The thing we used to get every month costs 1000 AA. and it's been reduced from 2% to 1%. They're not even pretending.

Well, we got our answer and it's exactly what I expected: 5 Astral Acclaim is nothing. Can't buy anything with it, in fact the cheapest thing is 6 which is just a kitten move.

Could be 5000 AA for all that matters when we don't know how much AA things actually cost.

Q: Are there still daily login rewards? A: There will be one objective every day for logging in. This objective gives 5 astral acclaim (standard daily objectives give 10). This statement means little when we don't know the prices of everything. I'm betting 5 astral acclaim isn't very much and definitely isn't enough to purchase most Daily Login equivalents.

Synergy? Current sword has 0 synergy outside of 1v1'ing a ranged opponent in PvP with no cc of their own. Ooooh cripple! Real useful on enemies that aren't trying to run from you. Definitely worth having no more evasion than a core warrior now with no gain in survivability.

It's stronger but what exactly makes it fun now? The thing that truly ticks me off about the people that love this is that at some point the damage will be nerfed. You'll just switch to another weapon but those of us that cared about sword-Ranger will be left with a weapon that is weaker AND bland af.

because that forces me to use a specific pet to do something I used to be able to do inherently. I can also heal using a bear, doesn't mean they should remove Ranger's healing ability.

Just happened to try my old Sword Soulbeast today. Instant regret. Flank is gone, disengage is gone, SB so my pet isn't out, jeez I'm just a really flimsy kitten warrior. I'll be using greatsword instead of sword, if I ever dare to touch my ranger again. Greatsword works, makes sense functionally, and is ironically now the technical weapon.

Do new/levelling characters get to use the unlocked weapons or is it only an 80 thing? ex: can a fresh Mesmer wield daggers?

I'll take just letting us dye the mech.

Something just occurred to me. The trains I'm supposed to follow for the non-soloable HPs, won't they be riding skyscales?

2nd healthbar? Does Shadow Shroud give you another healthbar like Death Shroud? 🤔
