Wvw for many people including myself is the only reason we play gw2 the last pve thing I've done was get to 450 weaponsmithing only to have a certain sigil on my weapons for wvw, I had not left the shiverpeaks for around 6 months now I only connect to either join wvw immediately or kill some ice wyrms while waiting in the queue.   4. If there's gonna be a dismount skill it should dismount the attacker as well and have some way for the attacked to still avoid. By timing the dodge (which exhausts endurance) or another form of counter. Leaving the attacker dismounted. Yeah I know "roaming". Have you considered that it might not be financially viable to maintain a game mode for a fringe hardcore PvP community in a primarily casual PvE game, and furthermore, to also cater to a fringier "roaming" community? WvWers don't really bring money to GW2 outside of server transfers, and with Alliances, even that will likely be gone; all they do is eat out server resources daily, and then boast how they don't care about fashion, story, PvE and so on, and then their game mode is gradually dying in its own stasis field while the rest of the game evolves. The traps might come in handy if used with strategy in mind by let's say commanders leading zeros but it definitely doesn't fix the issue of roaming being made essentially impossible, I've already seen many cases of looney toons themed chases in which 10 guys tried to constantly chase down one mounted player who just zig zags and throws them off each time they dismount. A break bar might work but ironically only if it'll break after one cc attack. Cc is rare as it is not to even talk about ranged cc and having a break bar which is designed to break after multiple attacks is useless if you som
  8. Seriously why not just make it ccable, it has enough evades and hp as it is. I don't see why skills which are already low on range and evadeable like Bola strike shouldn't work on it. Adding a dismount trap is not a good idea and I can already see it being almost never used just as all of the other traps. Just make it so players won't be able to use cc skills immediately after dismounting and everything is good.
