  1. When I say tickets are not being answered, I am not kidding, and I can prove it with massive screenshots of those I put in and STILL havenot gotten a single answer for.
  2. Many guilds aren't WvW guilds and those that are, are not available to many (i.e. BG) so your statement is a bit off. Solo and small guilds will be pushed to the side when the alliances are live. Solo anything right now is a total joke.
  3. So what you are saying is that two servers are fighting and one of the servers give up because it doesnt want to go up in tier, that's more competition than a 3-way as the 'best' server wins? I find your statement is ridiculous. The 3-way is literally there to stop a 2-way matchup from becoming too boring when one of the servers dominate. You find my statement ridiculous? You mean like a server telling all its players to stand down? Happens at least every other week on my server. If just two servers were fighting one another and not three with massive collusion and point manipulation, we'd not be talking about "WvW Restructuring" at all.
  4. You must not play WvW or anything like a boss train where moving fast between maps is an imperative. Example: When one is being called to an Emergency Waypoint in WvW, that blinking screen, which is more than three seconds in some cases, can causeinstant death and a loss of the property. It's also extremely disorienting to those with brain damage and vertigo/inner ear issues. Nausea and dizziness are instant when this happens, this is impacting not only the game, but people's health.

  6. Yeah the 3 second flickering only when I click play has happened for like a year but that's no issue to me which I why I didn't mention it as it's not the same issue I am talking about here. That issue is just the screen flickering for about 3 seconds on load of the game only. Nothing to do with this. The issue I am talking about here is since the April update that I see the desktop on all loading screens.. Destroys game modes like WvW.
  7. This graph was posted earlier in this thread by Anet Raymond, the driving force behind the Alliance revamp. Each column is the man hours(read activity level) of each server. Which columns represent which servers were not provided, except for the first column which we know is Blackgate. Maybe Blackgate has a better skilled WvW playerbase, maybe Blackgate has better commanders, maybe Blackgate is better organized. All of these things are debatable. What we know via this graph is that Blackgate spends more man hours in WvW than any other server, and that due to the population caps placed on servers, no other server has the chance to stack to the level of activity that Blackgate enjoys. Thus every server is outnumbered by Blackgate overall(Linked servers mitigate this somewhat, and individual times zones will vary, we're talking about overall). I'm not making an argument or stating my opinion, I'm just reading the data that Anet has given us. And after looking at that data for a very long time Anet has decided to do away with servers and give us a more dynamic flexible system. So instead of having teams called "servers" we become nothing, nobody and an EOTM-faceless-nameless blob without any loyalty or identity. That's expanding EOTM without doing away with it and not revamping WvW. If just a few things changed in WvW, I can almost guarantee everyone would be 'happier' and have a better WvW experience All 'health' pools are too small. If a fight is over in less than two seconds, something is wrong with the health pool numbers. Raise them to triplethe numbers, make people work for a kill rather than handing it to them on a platter. Voice comms inside WvW are long overdue. Even if it was only for each "map", it would make a huge difference. Three entities fighting against one antoher almost always sets up one to be 'doubleteamed' by two. That's not a competitiuon, that's, well, I don't know what it is, but it's not World Versus World. If just one entity was against one entity then the 'best' would rise to the top. As it is, it's a game of 'point manipulation' such asthe case of many servers 'standing down' so they won't go up in tier. Why are people who don't speak my language in my WvW? I thought the whole reason for NA and EU was to make sure we could understand one another? Another major issue not even being discussed yet and one that can break a server into many uncommunicative factions. Queues should open up as many maps as needed and collapse, similar to empty maps are doing now, with timers to let everyone move to other mapsas the queues resolve.
  8. With the lack of distance weapons on heavies, why would anyone pass on a pistol or at least a rifle?
  9. After the last -WINDOWS UPDATE- GW2 now goes to Windows 10 and then back to the game. It's not only annoying, it's a guaranteed way to die in some cases, especially in WvW. Three people I know are getting the same error. This one may not be on GW2, but the issue is real and it is harmful to the game.
  10. Many of us aren't getting any help from customer service. We're not even allowed to be seen here. So how can we report glitches when GW2 staff are abusing us?

  12. "new people every eight weeks with the option/chance to RP with them" You don't understand RPers. They are a community - like every server used to be. Eight weeks is never, ever going to be long enough to be cohesive, let alone cooperative and knowledgeable about their WvW mates in arms. This is the most ridiculous idea yet - because tournaments and servers were too easy - too cheap and not enough $$$ in coffers, which iswhat this is about, not about fixing WvW or making it better at all. Eight weeks isn't enough time to get to know anyone in any game or real life. The disarray that this system will cause, not only to RPers but to loyal WvW'ers who love this gaming mode and have been here sinceits inception, will be devastating to most who have no connection to guilds and much of the WvW community does not. There are many who will quit the game because they trusted the game they were given and the choice to build a community in a gaming mode thatwas different from every other game mode in any game anywhere. Community matters. Tournaments mattered. We as individuals in WvW matter.
  13. This is a horrid idea. Why? No loyalty. Where will our friends be? Oh, this is SO not right. No identity. Morale destroying. Guild-centric leaving the solo player and the small guilds without any cohesion? EOTM 2.0 is not going to 'fix' WvW. Putting it back to the beginning where we had tournaments and people 'settled' in their servers for their preferred WvW experience would havebeen so much better. My server matters to me. Our servers made us who we are. Now we will be nobodies on ever-changing masses of people we can't get to know at all.
  14. We aren't getting any attention from Anet over these freezes. And they are getting worse.

This is getting very old - so why aren't we being answered on these crashes that are ongoing and damaging to players' game time? *Addendum 16 crashes so far in three days. 16th just five minutes ago. Four crashes in less than two hours... 29 Dec 2017 **Addendum 4 crashes 30 Dec 2017 All freezing to a solid screen, can still hear and see what's going on but not even ctrl, alt, deldoes a thing - the computer must be hard booted every single time. Hard boot required as you watch the game playing, your music is still playing in the background (as it has for five years)and all the while losing buffs and loot. The game is in dire condition, for some, at present. We need to stop asking why individual computers are crashing but others are not and look to the network when a computer is completelyclean and has no other crashes except (markup from the button above is broken too) Guild Wars 2. If it's not drivers, client side networking issues, malware, viruses and everything else runs without GW2 running, we needto ask why the servers are miscommunicating with our computers to cause such a hard freezeout. Not a small issue - buffs take a while to build up, game time is limited for so many who work at all (I can't, I am too ill to do so but did workfor 33 years, ergo I play GW2 to keep my mind off pain - a lot of pain). As a computer expert who has gone through hours and hours of troubleshooting on this single issue in the last week, I can tell you it'snot all computers but in the Silverwastes three of us had almost constant drops out of the game over a two hour period. Something is wrong since all of our computers are completely different and our areas of the world where we play, were diverse to say the least.

The issue itself has been here since launch, and just speaking on my part alone, I've been addressing this issue to you for 4 years with:At least 50 in-game bug reports over the years, being very descriptive.Speaking to several Anet employees currently playing in the game, saying they were unaware and they would bring it up immediately.Reporting the issue on the old forums in the bug-report section, once again explaining the issue in great detailRaising awareness by speaking about it all over the game in map chat and fellow ranger party members.Creating threads in the old "Ranger" forums just like this oneReported the issue using this sites support center, where I made the issue very clear, and my ticket was closed without a single wordReporting the issue using this sites support center again, using my other account, where it was closed again and told rudely not to open reports on multiple accounts.Reporting the issue using this sites support center AGAIN, where I was even asked to show videos of the evidence. Which I then did and posted.Communicated with several support personnel, telling me to report it in-game, which I already had been doing for 4 years....Was later told this bug may be intended....Was later told they have made the team aware of the issue.The day the new forums came online, this tread, as well as my thread in the "Bugs" section has been posted and I've been doing my best to spread awareness and keep the posts active. Now I'm clearly not the only one here reporting this issue, alot of people here I'm sure have been spamming you. But based on me alone, how on earth is it taking you guys so long, not only to actually fix the issue, but for your team to actually be aware of it?? I mean, I'm basically screaming this is your faces where ever you look, haha. Honestly I've just been so disappointed in you guys its not even funny. But regardless I still love playing the game, but this issue has really been frustrating me as a Ranger-Main for ages. So I'd really like to see this fixed, as well as get an answer to my above questions. What that meant was that although I've been aware of this for years, too -- I'm a Ranger main, after all :) -- I still didn't have traction on a detailed answer, although I knew it was a known issue and I'd spoken with devs about it before. If you check forum archives -- we don't have an archive of the old forums, but others have been kind enough to host them on third-party sites -- you can confirm that this is not my first post on this subject. (I imagine other knowledgeable forum members will vouch for me here. :) ) Certainly, you are not the only person reporting this, but what I learned today has a bit more detail: Fixing this will be a complicated correction to make, because quickness can cause animation problems (presumably for some species, which is why this is not a unilateral/every creature problem). Each pet will need to be examined individually for these problems, and at the present time, this is not something that the designers are able to do. Again, this is a known issue -- I have that from several different people -- and this is a concern. Reading the details on this, quite honestly I personally do not foresee this being corrected in the very near future, as much as I know the team would like to be able to do so. However, that's my estimation, not a dev answer, and I will see if I can learn more and update when I have additional info. I don't see it being corrected in the very near future either if this issue has been known to the team for years.Had the slightest glimmer of hope, after all these years we finally got a response. I should have known better after all this disappointment.After making it very clear that the team has just been shrugging off a bug like this to the core mechanic of a whole profession, I understand how little you really care now.You've lost my support.It's all too obvious after almost 3k views that we didn't matter as Rangers, not even enough for a known bug that does impact our game play, to be fixed. I know that most of us have had to 'adjust' what should have been plainly said to us. We'd not have had some of the builds we did if we had known we were at a disadvantage. like losing precision, changes builds and whether one winsor not in any 1v1 or even in group play, all impacted by the choices we do or do not make. I am disappointed too. And hurt. Very hurt for the five plus years I have poured into what could have been a better characterand certainly more respected if the skills were as stated. (i.e. pet health/pathing/skills, skill lag, map/team chat lag, events not working, eventsthat drop one out of the map... et. al.). I have rarely seen such a loyal gamer base but even loyalty can be bent or broken if a real issue is never given any attention.
  17. And by ignoring such a fundamental, and what we thought we had, it impacts our game play in any mode where quickness is notalso part of us (no matter the toon, not just Rangers) and gives us a disadvantage others do not and have no had. And I agree wholeheartedly with your statement.
  18. The memory leak is insane. I can watch it after I start the game and it never ends until I crash. Why the memory leak??? Anet???

My jacaranda is totally different in pve than it is in wvw, so pets are nerfed beyond their half lives in WvW now too? The pets that are affceted by quickness at the moment are:-Armor Fish, Bristleback, Carrion Devourer, Fanged Iboga, Jacaranda, Rock Gazelle, Shark, Smokescale, Black Widow Spider, Cave Spider, Forest Spider, Jungle Spider, Electric Wyvern, Fire Wyvern, Lashtail Devourer, Whiptail DevourerTHANK you!
