It's pretty rude of you to respond in such a way. I already said I didn't start playing until after the original release of lws2, and was occupied with an infant for the free re-release. But I guess in your eyes if anyone misses log in for any reason what so ever, they aren't worth what the rest of the players have received. Enjoy your game. I'm sure it was worth ignoring real life to be so devoted. And I'm sure it's worth it to Anet to run off seasoned players by clinging to a dusty old product that most people here got free that i'm sure doesn't make much money in the gem store anyway.

Ok I understand what you are saying. When I opened the mail I got so excited thinking they were bringing the old event back and I'd finally get my chance to do the stories. But guess not.

Yeah well I guess that's the downside of motherhood, i miss out on my game more than I want to and the way it's set up just feels like I'm being punished for it.

They gave it away in 2021 for the last "return to lws2" event. And they've done it with all the other seasons too.

Because no one had to do that in 2021 last time they ran this event, but whatever, run off more players, that's just what this game needs.

It's not the achievements, it's the only season I don't have. 10 years in this game, purchased everything else, not to mentioned tons of stuff from the gem store, but punished for not logging on during the correct time to get this season for free. Pardon me for being busy pushing out a baby and missing out on what everyone else was offered. Enough time has gone by, release the season for us already.

Wish it would have been a free unlock like it was last time the "return to" event was released. Instead those of us left behind feel like a lump of cow poop. Thanks a lot anet.

My problem is it's all starting to get redundant. I'm starting to get bored and looking for something new. I love guild wars, love pvp, but i don't want to log in and do the same thing over and over and over, and pvp is a dumpster fire atm.

I'm not exactly a new player but i did come in post lws2. I always had a hard time with the story because of the gaps of s1 and s2. Now they gave us s1 but not s2 and I don't understand why. I keep hearing it's crap, no new maps, not to mention it's old as dirt at this point. And didn't players get it for free just from logging in? So why do new players who weren't here to log in when it was released have to be punished? I'm not paying for it. Sorry. I've paid for absolutely everything else in this game. I was hoping it would be discounted greatly at this point but no, 1280 gems. It's a slap in my face. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I've been trying to finish those for years now, so bugged, and always messed up by other players, i gave up.

I'm loving the wizard's vault! I just got a legendary weapon and a mount skin back to back. The dailies and weeklies aren't that bad. I do all pve/pvp/wvw. If i get a jumping puzzle i'll just skip it that day, or tip someone who's waiting at the end. No biggie.

yeah that's definitely not it, it gets completely broken. nothing fixes it. I have to restart the game. Like completely exit it out, and relaunch it. Logging out isn't enough.

I find it's all just giving me flashbacks of the game Rift.

It's happened more than once already since yesterday. No idea why. But once the boss is dead and the final animation is over, my left mouse button no longer works. I can't pan my camera or click-select anything. I have to restart the game to fix it everytime.

Most people having a positive experience are busy enjoying the game and not coming to the forums to complain, which is why it "seems" as though a high ratio are complaints, but in game chat we are all loving it. I for one and loving this expansion so far. Loved the story, love where it's going (was getting bored of the dragon drama) love the maps, love the wizzard's vault and new daily system. As a very casual player, I also love the new slow drip strategy because I always feel left behind as it takes me a while to get through content. And I love that for the first time in 10 years of playing, i may finally go for my first legendary. However I do agree with the feedback about the daily system, more choices would be better. I like to have pvp/pve/wvw all selected because I play all, but what I play depends on my mood that day. So having more to choose from so that I can do all pvp or wvw if that's my thing that day/week would be great. Also, you can't pay me to go near a jumping puzzle, so if there's one on the weekly, there goes my bonus, cause i ain't doing it. But if we have options, then I can avoid that travesty. Oh and one more thing, the yogo dance we all have to do, at the top of the spire, is....... weird. I'm not going to hate on the game over it, but.... someone had to say it.

Two of my WvW weekly objectives aren't working. No matter how many times I participate in the qualifying captures, it's not reflecting in my weekly. I already finished my pvp weeklys so i'm going to be pretty pissed if I miss out on my 450AA bonus if I can't complete the broken wvw weekly's.

I've enjoyed playing it so far. The story held my interest far better than the never-ending dragon drama. The daily login going away is fine with me since I don't log in daily. I like the prizes on the new system and the ability to choose what I want instead of being fed a bunch of stuff i don't want every time i log in. The ending was nice, I like where we are going with this story, about to get dark and creepy. My only gripe is the dialogue in story kept referring to my character as "they". That came of REALLY lazy to me, and annoying as hell. Seriously if i get called "they" one more time i will throat punch the nearest npc. Also, not gonna lie, i see a lot of inspiration from the game Rift. Anyone remember that game?

I don't have max elite specs in all my alts yet, and just wondering if i'll need to hunt hero points in old maps or if I'll get to catch up with hero points in the new map?

For the love of all that is holy will y'all please fix the mounting issue. You know, the one that causes us to suddenly turn 90 degrees while mounting on the run, the one that if I'm running straight ahead, and happen to mount while running, especially on top a very high bridge in desert broderlands, and when i mount instead of continuing straight I'm suddenly thrown to the side, over the bridge and down to my unavoidable death. Getting real sick of this. Been going on forever.
