I really didnt care much about vanilla story, but the expansions did a great job of making me like the commander and the crew. I never skip a conversation now. -

even in full berserker gear my mesmer cant kill anyone these days, and you get punished for chosing either of the elite specs (choose to have 1 dodge only, or no on-demand shatters)

well I am trying deadeye a bit in pve and I am finding the kneel mechanic very cumbersome, i kill stuff simply much faster with pistol pistol unload

Thanks, I asume Rifle Deadeye uses Berserker stats, right?

Which is the most effective long-range dps out of these two? What are the strengths of each?

I have a really good pc and its a shame I cannot run this game on a constant 60 fps. I notice some settings like super-sample has no effect on my fps, but others, like Model Limit and Shadows do crush my fps. How is everyone's experience with LOD Distance? Does it affect your fps?

Please re-purpose Dungeons for Solo adventurers

Its safe to say that no one runs dungeons anymore and they are pretty much dead content, and for those of us that want to experience the content is a pain to find groups even for story mode.I think its time to repurpose dungeons, Story mode should be for 1 player while Explorable mode for 3 to 5 players. -
My main and only character

I want to play a support/healer class for wvw and feel like I am really changing the tide of the battle with it. I have no idea how any of the support classes play out, but if it helps I would rather stay in range and use my abilities as opposed to having to be in melee range to help out.

For some reason the wvw ascended gear are all locked, and I cant purchase them.

I have like 40 laurels so I was thinking to buy an ascended trinket.But maybe that is a waste of laurels, are there any ways to get ascended pieces without crafting or having to do fractals?

50% increased speed on all actions is way too strong. Even as a Chrono Mesmer I find myself in conflict because on one hand I get to have 100% uptime on quickness, which is nice, on the other hand playing it is way too frantic and stressful, my keyboard doesn't appreciate it when i go all wack-a-mole on it.

The Jumping Puzzle list in my achievements is all complete, but thats all from core Tyria... does that mean there arent any jumping puzzles in the expansion zones? I mean, outside of the regular challenging vistas and hero points.

I like roaming wvw and picking up 1v1 fights, whats a good ranged class for this?

I am using a condi mirage staff mesmer, but I am wondering what secondary weapons should I use to compliment my staff. Scepter has range which helps because I wont have to reposition when I switch from staff, but I hear its a herrible weapon. Should I go with axes? If so, what advantage does axe offer me against scepter? This is for open world pve, I am working towards completing all the maps and story missions from the expansions.

I quit playing before the first expansion released but now I am back. I have read resources on mesmer builds, but, apparently there was a huge balance very recently that changed the metas so I need an up-to-date advice. I mainly want to have casual fun in wvw, looking for some 1v1 dueling oportunities, and general pve soloing and map completions. I like the greatsword, if that helps.
