As of the November 29th 2022 Patch,> Axe third auto + Ambush is still bugged ; the mesmer will be unable to cast the ambush "imaginary axes" if the mirage cloak is gained while performing the axe's third auto "mirror strikes" while the mirage trait "mirrored axes" is equipped.> Axe Auto Attack Chain + Ambush while in the hitbox still resets the auto chain ; the mesmer's 1's chain will reset back to the first initial skill "Lacerating Chop"> Axe Clone Auto Attack Chain + Ambush while in the hitbox still resets the clone's auto chain ; exactly like the mesmer's.> Clone Attack Speed is still reduced if the clone is standing inside the target's hitbox while the mesmer is holding an offhand weapon of any kind.

  3. An updated video to show that this bug is still happening in current patch as of today October 19th 2022. This was tested with no gear, no trinkets, only a main-hand axe, no boons, no class specific buffs and minimal traits (only the mirage trait-line and in some cases the mirrored axes trait). I swap between a level 80 white berserker axe with no runes and a level 0 fine mighty axe to show that the skin, rarity, upgrade or stat of the axe is irrelevant to this bug.Axe third auto + Ambush Bug :In this video I demonstrate the bug between the third axe auto and the axe ambush. First, I show the interaction between the axe's third first skill Mirror Strikes and using the mirage's dodge to gain access to my ambush skill, Imaginary Axes. In this scenario, I dodge in the middle of my Mirror Strikes animation and gain access to my Imaginary Axes. After Mirror Strikes finish casting, my character casts imaginary axes. I then select the trait Mirrored Axes and go to show the interaction again. In this second scenario, after my Mirror Strikes finishes casting, my first skill slot simply flips back the first skill Lacerating Chop and does not give me the opportunity to cast Imaginary Axes at all. I then remove the "auto attack" function from my 1 skill to show that this also happens without. I then change my main-hand axe to a level 0 fine mighty axe to show that the skin, rarity, upgrade or stat does not affect this bug and that it can happen no matter what kind of axe main-hand you are using. In both demonstrations I go inside and outside the hitbox to show that the character's position (in or out of the enemy's hitbox) does not matter. I have put timestamps on my video to allow for an easier viewing experience. Edit : Video to show that the bug will also occur even if the mesmer doesn't dodge ; gaining access to the ambush skill via a mirage mirror will also result in the same problem.

  5. Some updated videos to show that these bugs are still happening in current patch as of today October 11th 2022. All of these were tested with minimal gear (no armour, no trinkets and only 1 main hand axe) and minimal build (only the mirage trait line and in some cases with mirrored axes on.) I've included timestamps in each of my video so it's easier to follow. Axe third auto + Ambush Bug : In this video I demonstrate the bug between the third axe auto and the axe ambush. First I demonstrate the bug with the mirrored axes trait on, and then demonstrate that the bug doesn't occur without the trait active. In both cases I test with the auto attack on and off the 1 key to show that it is unrelated. This bug occurs that the player is inside or outside the hitbox. Auto Attack Chain + Ambush Reset Bug : In this video I demonstrate the interaction between the axe auto chain and ambushing. I first ambush in between my autos to show that the bug does not occur when you are outside the hitbox, as my chain still continues where it left off. I then walk inside the hitbox and proceed to do the same sequence of skills I did while outside the hitbox and demonstrate that the bug occurs only when inside the hitbox. For example, let's say I cast Ethereal Chop followed by an ambush, if I was inside the hitbox of the golem my auto attack chain will restart and go back to Lacerating Chop (axe auto 1) while if I was standing outside the golem's hitbox I would continue with a Mirror Strikes (axe auto 3). Clone Auto Attack Chain + Ambush Reset Bug : In this video I demonstrate that the axe auto chain + ambush interaction also happens to clones and not just players. You can see that every time I ambush, the clone inside the golem's hitbox will restart it's auto chain and start at the first auto again. Meanwhile, the clone outside the hitbox simply continues its chain. For example, if both clones were performing the 2nd axe auto Ethereal Chop and I was to ambush, the clone inside the hitbox will go back to casting a Lacerating Chop (Auto 1) while the clone outside the hitbox will continue with a Mirror Strikes (Auto 3). Clone Attack Speed bug : As for the clone attack speed bug while inside the enemy's hitbox, I have found that the bug only occurs if the mesmer is holding an offhand weapon of any kind. I was unable to reproduce the bug without holding an offhand weapon. In this video I spawn 3 clones using axe 2 and then proceed to cast axe 3 to change the clones' position until at least 1 of them is inside the hitbox. The reason I use axe 3 is so that the clones stay synchronized in their attack chain. I first demonstrate that clones in and out of hitbox have no attack speed difference if the mesmer does not have an off-hand weapon equipped. I then equip an off-hand pistol and show that clones inside the hitbox will have a slower attack rate than clones that are outside. I then change my pistol for an off-hand sword to show that the bug will occur even with a different off-hand weapon.

  9. This is still an issue as of today, september 16 2022. It also applies to any kind of enemies, not just those with defiance bars. The skill (dragon slash reach) will apply 0.5s of stun (100 defiance bar) no matter how many charges you use.

  18. === As of December 13 2022 this has been fixed === On mirage when using an axe, if you gain access to your ambush skill either via picking up a mirage mirror or using your dodge, your ambush skill will disappear and you will have the normal first axe auto "lacerating chop" again. This results in the player being unable to cast the ambush skill at all, that they have the "auto attack" function activated for their first skill or not. This only happens if you have the Mirage Axe Trait "Mirrored Axes". Unequipping the trait will allow you to ambush like normal, even when gaining access to your ambushes mid 3rd axe auto.   22. You think its normal to have a 20% proj finisher combo 100% of the time?
  23. Mesmer's Signet of the Ether goes on cooldown twice. Once when the cast bar is finished and again when the aftercast is finished. If you look closely at my heal skill you'll see it went down to 28 seconds for a fraction of a second then jumped back up to 29.
  24. tl;dw 20% projectile finishers aren't 20% chance to trigger, its 20% chance per field on the ground. They can also trigger finishers from different fields unlike every other finisher in the game which are locked to 1 type of field per skill cast.
