It has almost been 3 years since this post. I think Arenanet is only game dev company that is literally afraid of their community.

Situational. Power berserker is most effective, especially in open world and Dungeons since everything dies so fast. Axe/axe is great burst damage and u get everything below elite level killed with just clicking skill 5. Wont go deeper into it since u only asked for Roleplay level content.

Raid gear with weapons depending which Weapon Master achievement I need done. Apart from roleplaying, theres zero difficulty in any open world left so might as well just spend your time wisely.

Major destruction that was promised at the beginning of the game? Yes that would be awesome. Do they have any kind of manpower to even update vanilla maps? Absolutely not. -
Arenanet is aware of lag. that is why they postponed Steam release. There is no1 smart enough working there that could fix it. I dont even feel bad for Anet anymore. Fails after fails. Maybe its time to file bankrupty soon.

Pretty lame. I am super saddened that Anet has downgraded their efforts to this. and no, giving excuses that expansion gets top priority is not enough. Its year away. What are we supposed to do till then? On positive note I am glad that they shelved Steam release. Flood of facts in reviews would have ruined it instantly.
