  1. I'll give some feedback about WvW and mainly roaming and smallscale/cloud fights (3-4h). The Weapon overall is quite nice, I enjoy it so far. I'll go over every skill separately: 1) Autoattacks: - Could feel a bit smoother animations-wise - PLEASE REMOVE THE ANNOYING SOUND FROM AA3! Seriously it sounds way too magical for warrior and in addition is just plain annoying by itself. 2) Valiant Leap: - Overall good skill, nice hybrid usage for support or offense - Should deal more damage (like dagger2) or maybe reduce cd to 5sec - Should be definitely a BLAST FINISHER - That skill has serious trouble with different heights, for example fighting on a slope. Your aoe will land on the same level you started your animation on and thus will miss if not fighting on a plain field. Very annoying and hope it's just a bug... 3) Line Breaker: - Good Mobility - Weak damage for 18sec cd - As many already stated, same problems as Rush GS5. Hit registration is super weird/buggy. - Ally targeting is stressfull - Maybe consider giving the support part to the user if cast without target, neither enemy nor ally 4) Snap Pull: - Simply great! 5) Bullet Catcher: - Great Skill - Block channeling is buggy and is very often interupted after 1/4sec without any inputs. F1) Path to Victory - Good skill, nice to have a Burst Skill with some range and aoe! But please delete that awful sound from it like the AA3 😧 - Bit more damage for a 2h weapon would be welcomed - Please remove regeneration and give it a small 3sec waterfield Primal Burst is practically the same as regular F1, but on this I'd say regeneration fits well.
  2. I think we can put it simply. We, the warriors, just want to deal dmg too. We are almost exclusively focused around power and full melee, so our dmg should be fearsome. Or at least comparable with all the bs going on for quite some time with those other classes 😂
  3. I can't agree, most of them are pretty good. Sure they have that spikey obsidian theme, but none of them (except maybe male necro) will turn you into charcoal. I think this impression exists only because we had no dye channels back in the day and everyone dyed their stuff black, cuz it was the most expensive. Male ele and female mesmer would probably become a fast fan favorite for old and new guild wars players alike. Monk was excellent too, warrior is a classic staple, necro would be loved by edgy teens or whatever lol. It's just wasted potential for existing and fan favorite skins of the guild wars universe, which "only" need to be transferred to gw2 graphics.
  4. Tbh I'm fine with either way, I just like the looks of these sets and it was a thriving force for many many players to get these armors. So I think it would be great to add them to gw2, doesn't matter if store or achiev based, but the nostalgia for a lot of ppl would go through the roof!
  5. I'm playing Guild Wars since it's early days and I really miss those very prestigious armor sets from gw1: Obsidian Armor. I'd really like to have it implemented like the GWAMM title, once you earned it in Guild Wars 1 it unlocks in gw2. In case of the armor sets an outfit for each owned obsidian armor type would be marvelous! All I want is that sweet Paragon Obsidian Armor for my warrior girl in gw2 😞 I don't mind having all the other sets as well, because I believe I got almost every set in gw1 :'D What do you guys think of this?
  6. Hopefully they buff spellbreaker to make it competitive with other roaming builds since we lost like half of our dmg with the CC nerf back in 2020 and didnt get any compensation for it. Then they also ripped our resistance buff some patches later. I do like the deal more dmg to enemies above 50% thing for breaching strike, would feel good to hit the full combo with breaching into arcing, but I still think a straight dmg buff is the correct way to stay competitive with other specs. Don't forget Spellbreaker is our PvP spec on warrior, it should be viable! There is no oldschool resistance anymore, nor dmg on cc which made warrior super annoying... right now it is a shadow of it's past and only die-hard warrior mains stick to it. What would also be good is to give Full Counter a bit of it's dmg back like they did with the Hammer F1, it's a class mechanic skill which needs setup and has to be triggered, it should be fair to make an exception to the "cc no dmg" rule. We hardstuck spelli mains tasted blood the last couple of days and we want our bae back on the menu!
  7. I fully agree to that, with this bug warrior finally felt on par with other modern specs/build. Breaching Strike currently, after the fix, does around 4k crit for me which is stupidly low for an adrenaline "burst" skill. But hey, they let willbenders and harbingers run around going completely mental with these cele stats, but a heavy hitting F1 warrior skill on ONE elite spec is where the fun stops, am I right? Insta nerf/fix...
  8. Any mythic weapon enjoyers? Unfortunately I did not play during the 3 days sale in March 2022... So please bring back Elite Weapons Vouchers! Such great skins and almost nonexisting ways to obtain them 😞 https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Elite_Weapons_Voucher
  9. Well said. I really hope they see the anger and frustration they brought up with this e-spec and hopefully they realize at least some of our improvement suggestions. Btw they also said they gave teleports and shadowstep to everyone hence why thief gets even more of them... so maybe I'm blind, but did I miss all the insane teleports on warrior? Ah wait we got that millimeter port while in DT, right!
  10. I already posted following feedback on a german forum, but I am not sure if anyone from Anet really reads them and the forum looks kinda dead in comparison to the english one... xD So, I will repost it here: I currently have around 2,500 hours on my warriors, mainly playing competitive content, but have also done 750+ LI and practically all achievements with the class. I was really looking forward to the new spec, but unfortunately the joy waned very quickly. I really like the concept and the visuals. The mechanics behind it are actually quite interesting, but everything suffers from a few, but strongly noticeable, points: 1) Damage: in PvE, as you can see in many benchmark videos, with 52k dps is too high. But much too low for that in competitive modes. Practically every weapon does more damage with better CDs than the Gunsaber and the F1 / 2 burst is also significantly weaker than that of the regular greatsword for example... and then you have to stand still for an extremely long time to charge in the Dragon Trigger. 2) Weapon swap: CD after using Dragon Trigger severely restricts the flow of the game. In PvE the Dragon Trigger is at least worth it, but in Competitive you are punished three times with Dragon Trigger (obvious charge without movement, little damage, weapon swap CD). 3) Weapon set: I don't quite understand why you had to deactivate the second weapon set. Ele has 4 skill sets thanks to attunements, Engi has tons of kits, Rev has two weapon sets + two utility bars, Necro is also allowed to have two weapon sets + shroud skills and Firebrand got three whole skill bars despite two weapon sets. Warrior is supposed to be the master of all weapons, but a second weapon set is somehow not allowed ... And no, Dragon Trigger definitely does not replace a second set, it is too difficult to access and in most places simply too impractical. 4) New weapon: I like the pistol a lot, even if the targeting is still a bit buggy. Skills 4 + 5 are unconventional and fun, you can argue about Aegis on pistol 4, I personally would find 1 / 4s daze or even a stun more suitable and would give the weapon significantly more impact. But here again: why off-hand, or why only one? Didn't PoF say the warrior got two daggers because he was the master of arms in the game and that type of weapon could be wielded in both hands so he gets main+off-hand? In addition, the pistol as an off-hand atm is not a good choice, as there are simply better options in the warrior kit. In PvE, if you only want to do damage, the OH axe is better, it offers quickness with good dmg and with Axe5 it not only does a lot of damage, but also does the whole thing in AoE. In competitive, the pistol has to compete with the shield and exchanging some single target burst for a block + stun is usually not a good trade-off. Pistol 4 cannot exactly be called a heavy mobility skill to count as a real utility 😄 In addition warrior is missing a 1h ranged mainhand weapon. Solutions for points 1) to 3) are, I think, quite obvious. At point 4) it gets trickier. Personally, I think it would be best if the pistol slipped onto the main hand, with the Dash swapping the Aegis for 1 / 4s daze and simply setting an auto attack for the weapon. For the auto attack you could possibly just use the one from the Engi Mainhand pistol. P.S. Gunsaber Skill 2 feels incredibly slow and slows down the gameplay enormously.
