Just stopping by to throw my hat in the ring of complaining - have had a toon parked there for six days now just waiting.

Six days now it's been disabled - and this isn't even the first GD time they've had it disabled. A mount quest is a pretty big quest to leave broken - it's the entire reason a bought a copy of Soto for my alt account; something I will take into heavy consideration before making purchases in the future.

Yeah just logged in myself and it's back to normal. /thumbs up

I don't know about anyone else, but I can only claim if I finish the daily/weekly or if it's the objective listed first - I rarely do all my weekly, but now I don't want to do any of them since I can't claim it unless I go in order... so I'd argue the usability is marginal at best. At least for me.

Well, if it was 6 clovers, 2 ectos and a stick it wouldn't be very "legendary", would it? Ascended its very attainable and outside of skins and being able to equip from the armory it's just as meta as legend gear. As for the "grind"? Oh sweet summer child... /Laughs in Everquest

You can still pick up trains that do PoF and HoT challanges since they were not designed to be solo originally. It's common to see squads run them and it's nice and quick for all 250 points, keep an eye out in lfg, especially on the weekends. Also worth noting, Lord Hizen on YouTube, his latest videos are directed towards gear and specs for the latest xpak, but get as close as you can to his builds and you will be able to solo any PoF and most of HoT heroes. He builds specifically to solo champs and shows all the builds in action as well as good rotation. Good luck! And welcome back.

Far be it from me to just jump in with a criticism, and I too go through periods of inactive playing, but countering that the only motivation to actively play was after you had accumulated enough from farming login rewards to craft a legendary is hardly a solid argument to denounce the new vault system. This may come as a surprise, but if that's how you play the game then you are not the target market; no developer is going to go out of their way to appease people who don't play, or play really infrequently, or people who just farm free stuff and never put a dime back into a game - that's pretty unrealistic. And no, it isn't counter-intuitive because the old system encouraged a few people to log in after they amassed enough freebies - consistently active players are the target market, ergo they are who Anet listens to and worries about. I won't say the vault is perfect, and since the games launch I have racked up 13 accounts from friends and family who have moved on plus my own, so I'd be lying if I said I didn't farm those accounts when the whim struck me or I was impatient to get something, BUT first and foremost I am an active player so easy come, easy go /shrug. I have full stacks of repair canisters and revive orbs and merchant expresses rotting away in my precious bank space, pitch to me a new system that allows me to delicate my energy specifically to gold, laurels and clovers without getting the crap my days of rpg-ing will not allow me to delete "just in case", then buh-bye farm accounts and hello vault. Most of my guild mates and RL friends feel pretty similar in that.

/sigh. I was hoping *something* might show up by today, but alas, not so much. I've checked the few sites outside of Amazon and their region block and the currency exchange rates make it right around regular price (in some cases more). Would have liked to pick up a couple xpaks and let my teens give it a real try (beyond F2P); at a sale rate if they didn't like it I wouldn't care, I'd just turn them into alt accounts, but if ANet doesn't want my money, then they don't want my money.
