I am an ele from Hod and didnt exploited it like many others did.. on each servers. That was annoying but nothing compare to any thieves or rangers killing u with a 2-4 skills "rotation". Some class are broken since forever but as soon as ele's get 1 broken skill the whole community panic! :o You use this to complain that a Ranger has killed you? An idea: get better! Not trying to insult or antagonise; it's a fact, mate... And how is it even close to a Ele shooting THROUGH walls...? Anyhow,, thanks to the Devs.... this was infuriating.

Good. Roll back WxP for any Elementalist logged in for hours during this time. I would ban them for 1 week. Our server had a great battle with the team that is now abusing this (although, naturally, not all and good on them) and this has brought their server into disrepute and spoiled a great match-up. It has also allowed them to dominate as our side mass-logged out. I also have a Ele and refused to exploit this. I play fair. I play for fun and the challenge. Some people (above) think it's fun to exploit and get cowardly kills and, think it toxic to complain about it. I hope it's quick because I just can't play in WvW, until it's fixed...

Toxic?! Are you being serious or just trolling? It is not MEANT to be this way! Tagging your enemy then running and hiding in a building and spamming#1 until they're dead is cowardly play and annoying as hell! People with your outlook should not even game...move along!! Make some fun for people... Unbelievable!!

Still being spammed by Ele dagger skill #1 from across the map and behind objects!!! They KNOW that this bug is an exploit and the opposing faction in WvW are spamming the hell out of it! At the very least, any Ele that spent a considerable time in WvW following this game-breaking patch should have ALL WXP, gained during this time, removed!! If it was me, I would give them a one week ban!! FIX THIS NOW!! ABSOLUTELY FUMING!!!

Just thought I'd add something to the mix: I was having the same issue at the end of 2020. Nothing worked. Was in daily email discussions with tech-support (they were very helpful and tried their best) but, nothing worked. Just as I thought it was fixed. BAM!, a disconnect! The ONLY thing which stopped it for me, was using a VPN when doing story content. I had to rent one for around £5.00 per month but, for me, it was worth it. Never had one again...

Just went on and checked with my Tempest Ele: I could shoot things through walls as long as they were targeted. Had large packs on opposing team in WvW running about on Ele, shooting people out of range and through walls! Most of the people I see playing each evening have logged out. Now, the opposing faction is just running around the map, dominating everything. We worked hard this week in WvW and, I love the game mode. But this! This has utterly destroyed it! NEEDS FIXING NOW!!!

Agreed. Playing against opposing team and so many Ele's running around doing this... utterly unplayable.

Personally, I love the place. I like the fact that you have to keep your wits about you and that feeling that there is danger around every corner, to coin a phrase... I enjoy going there to test out new builds/gear set-ups and putting skills to the test. I guess if you enjoy rolling over mobs, or - more to the point - going sight-seeing, you best stick to other places.

WvW is awesome, imo. If you go on at that right time; on the right server (no idea what country you are in, either); can also utilise Discord chat (should you wish). I get you may have had a rather underwhelming experience but, it just is not like that for very many. Go in. Learn the ropes. How is your server doing in the Mists? Are they getting beasted? It may mean you are simply playing on a mainly-PvE-centric server so, few WvW players and even fewer Commanders...
