His laptop packs more computing and graphics power than mine. So I don't think it is the hardware. Thanks for the reply! No limit. Current users are just his laptop and mine. We even disconnected and turned off other devices eg. cellphones, TV, console, (I even turned off the fridge! Jk.) Again, lag is experienced only in heavy meta maps - so not sure what to optimize when joining a map with massive number of players for his laptop. After all, this is an MMORPG. 🙂 Unless you are implying that the ISP is limiting VPN users? Thanks!

My partner and I are on the same network and use ExitLag. He gets super lag (pings at 3k) when in meta events eg. LLA, Dragonstorm, Drakkar, etc. On the other hand, I don't. With ExitLag, he can manage fractals and raids easily. When he plays at his apartment, he doesn't experience lag (and he doesn't even have to use ExitLag). Tried switching ethernet ports used but still no luck. He uses the same cable. Any suggestions on what else to check? Thank you!

Thanks for the responses! I am also at melee range but sadly Daddy Tentacles doesn't like me at all. I'm just waiting for it to appear back in the dailies or recommended so I can try running it multiple times. 🙂

I can't event use -diag on the exe. Lag just happens on the game. Streaming services and other games work really really well. Isolated only on GW2. I can try VPN trial and check if that helps but it has been working previously for a year now... why?!

I've been experiencing this too! So plus one! I think it started when they removed the beta slots. Ive tried disabling the DX11 too but still happens. Sighs. I hope they take notice of these issues.

Experiencing this, too, more frequently now. From once an hour to every 20 mins, and even within 3 minutes after logging in to a character. Once this happens a lot, you get to naturally check the time each time it happens. I've done all suggestions above and I am reinstalling the game now and would retry the steps. From observations, this started happening earlier this week. Will be editing this post for my progress. And I hope well all get uninterrupted connections to the game! Note: All other internet services are working fine, no lags, no buffers (YT, Netflix, other MMORPGS) even when used simultaneously.

And can they do a design a mount contest for the community? IMHO, the recent mount designs are not as AWESOME as those released earlier.

I love the Favor of Colossus for my torch! And I think the community is a rich resource of brilliant ideas which are worth to explore and pursue. It would be nice to have it back and who knows, they can be considered as legendary options. Design a Weapon 2017

This might be related to those having issues with NOT receiving the slot and boost. I hope they get it fixed soon. Cheers, mates!
