  1. I think removing movement would take away from the thief's identity, however much it might help in stack mechanics. Honestly, I'd prefer it if better fight design made it so stacking wasn't such a viable thing in most fights. I do however think that the upcoming daredevil change to havoc specialist will help with this, since we won't have to dodge as much to upkeep dps.
  2. Nope, it's essentially just a significantly worse PP on anything other than deadeye. Honestly weapon mastery for thief is largely pointless.

  4. Can't speak for everyone, but usually the regeneration from steal is sufficient for emergency or mechanics so 15% bonus from using them all is pretty easy to maintain in most fights. Fair point though and I mentioned that 10% would probably be okay to reflect the improved survivability you get from keeping some endurance for dodges which will replace holding a dodge back as you suggested. The other changes might also help to make up the difference, like increased base crit chance. I'd love to believe that the lack of specifics means it'll stay at the maximum value but I have been main thief since launch so trust is not the highest xD
  5. Havoc specialist change is good in theory but the devil is in the details. Agree that jumping around to maintain damage is a problem when stacking for healing is generally the tactic for most fights but what's the new damage modifier? If it's less than 15% then it's a nerf. Accepting the increase to survivability, I'd be okay with reducing it to 10% but any lower and the trait will just get replaced.
  6. Thematically pretty cool but it's honestly very disappointing that in execution (get it?) axe seems to be just as poorly implemented as weapon mastery for thief. Given that the issues with that were fed back after the beta for that were largely unaddressed, I'm honestly curious if anything will be done with this feedback or if axe will release and be just as useless for thieves.
  7. Really interesting. I really miss old school core thief and the dd deadeye build(and deadeye in general) always felt pretty junky. I also love daredevil so this is certainly intriguing.

  10. I'm the same. As much as it can be clunky and as much as anet seem to hate us, I believe that thief is the true representation of the flexibility that makes gw2 combat different from other games.
