  1. It seems like the range weapons in this has too much advantages than melee weapons, almost all range weapons has a defensive measure against melee based builds.
  2. Sometimes the damage numbers just blocks view of enemy animation, also makes the screen clutters a bit over bearing sometimes. Add an option to put damage numbers on chat box only.
  3. Let me be clear, bladesworn is NOT overpowered. it is still very susceptible to high amounts of CC and condition spam. Also it is not easy to use, so not recommended for beginners. Bladesworn has very high sustain while also being able to dish out large but reasonable damage without using a glass build. Vigorous shouts trait IS A MUST for bladesworn you'll have a difficult time surviving without it as movement and skill telegraphs are rather clunky as of the moment. Once you fill out your tactics traitline you can pretty much use every other traitlines as you like without having to worry about a build. I use ,tactics, strength and of course bladesworn. For tactics: Soldier's comfort, warrior's cunning and Vigorous shouts. Soldier's comfort is the best t1 trait for me as it gives me more healing than i already do with shouts. Warrior's cunning makes my initial burst Deal more damage, shrug it off is also a good trait to pick, but since i already have so much stability with this build it's not that important. Of course Vigorous shouts is absolutely my favorite for the heals. it also doubles the healing the more power i have. For strength:Brave Stride, great fortitude and Berserker's power Brave Stride is a must for me since once you get Crowd Controlled it is very hard to get out of a difficult situation. Great Fortitude makes me deal more damage also for the extra health the more ferocity you have. Berserker's strength is the best t3 trait for this build, you'll know why later. For Bladesworn trait: River's flow,Fierce as Fire or Unshakable mountain and Daring Dragon. River's Flow of course gives me more healing that includes Soldier's comfort as well as vigorous shouts. Fierce as Fire for additional Damage of course or unshakable Mountain for more sustain. Daring Dragon, Perhaps the trait i was rather hesitant at the start to use but it more useful for me than Unyielding Dragon which Anet has removed it's stun. I liked daring dragon better because of the alacrity it gives but also the damage it deals per charge. For weapons: i use the Axe/shield, honestly i understand axe/pistol is very popular as pistol can deal more damage but i decided to use shield instead because my gun saber is basically my damage dealing weapon of choice. I only use axe/shield because it gives me more survivability. For Amulet, Relic and Runes: Demolisher/Berserker amulet, antitoxin or leadership and traveler rune/eagle rune. Demolisher for more sustain and toughness or the berserker amulet as you already have so much healing. Antitoxin because in this build you don't really have a lot of condition cleanses so you're either going to take antitoxin or avoid condition spam opponents, leadership rune is also viable as not only converts 3 conditions into boons, each boon you have increases your damage because of the t2 minor trait from tactics "empowered". Traveler if you simply want more movement speed without relying on swiftness or use eagle rune for increased chance of critical hits as well as more damage. for utilities:Combat stimulant,on my mark shout, for great justice shout, balanced stance or stomp and tactical reload. Combat stimulant of course maybe the best warrior healing utility. On my mark shout not only does this give me healing, but also gives enemies vulnerability and reveals opponents, pretty great against dead eyes class. For great justice For healing as well as giving increased critical chance and damage. Balanced stance for the pulsing stability which is highly needed, but stomp is also good if you want some more crowd control against opponents while also obtaining stability. Tactical Reload because the more you shoot the better. ( Tactical Reload DOES NOT AFFECT SHOUTS AMMUNITION for i have so far observed) Overall this build is really good for dishing out damage while having reliable sustain. But it is highly recommended that you avoid condition spam opponents, although even so you still have chances to win against them if they are Unlucky or not skilled enough.
  4. i do understand some traits will need to be changed if your profession is berserker, just like bladesworn, some traits are changed in order to situate with bladesworn. After all bladesworn in itself is incredibly different from both berserker and spellbreaker to a point that it almost feels like a completely different class (which honestly i really love since it's not just a hybrid of a profession, it feels like it's a true Advanced profession in a sense) i understand what i said above it may not be related on my orginal posts. I suppose what I'm saying some original traitlines will be changed to better suit the berserker i proposed on my original post. just like some traitlines were changed to suit bladesworn.
  5. Instead of going to berserk mode to use berserk burst skills, why not just replace the normal ones with berserk burst version and turn it like an ammo system. instead of using the entire adrenaline bars every time you use a berserk burst skill it will only use 1 adrenaline bar and you can recast it instantly (no cool down) until all the adrenaline bars are depleted, then once all the adrenaline bar is depleted it will have a cool down. adrenaline will not regenerate until you empty all adrenaline bars as a measure of balance. (adrenaline will still regenerate while it's on cool down) there will still be a berserk mode but you don't have to full bar your adrenaline system to activate it, instead you can activate it instantly giving you the same buffs and traits (depending of what kind of trait line you use) exp: giving you increased damage and such. the adrenaline system while ON berserk mode will be different. while on berserk mode you can use same the berserk burst skills but giving you the buffs your trait line will give, you can use berserk burst skills similar to the burst skill system above but instead of consuming adrenaline bars by using a berserk burst skill, adrenaline will slowly deplete until it is empty (berserk burst will not consume any adrenaline while on berserk mode or just consume a small portion of it) then you will return to normal mode and your burst skills will be on cool down. While not engaging or hitting an enemy while ON berserk mode the adrenaline bar system will degrade faster.
  6. Well to be honest reason being berserker as the least favorite profession for warrior is rather simple. Most of the traitline is heavily reliant on berserk mode.
  7. What are the strong points of chronomancer and it's weakest in both pve and pvp? What makes it strong in certain situations and what it's downsides.
  8. Don't really care what OP is saying, all I care about is losing because someone is "testing some build", those that treats point caps mode as TDM, reasoning it's "only a game" i play a game not to be frustrated because of some noob tries to do a role that he's not good at, people who don't put up a fight.
  9. i really don't see any reason by giving almost every profession teleportation skills was a good idea, first is that not that it only makes those who does not have any in a massive disadvantage. second is that it has too many professions that has it, so why not just give everyone teleportation? i mean to a point ANET loves it but didn't think otherwise on how it will be a nightmare to balance. of course ANET will never touch teleportation skills because people who loves to abuse it will say "don't touch it" in most other MMO I have played there have been some teleportation skills at least but not every class has it and for good reasons even BDO who has excellent combat movement gave every single class a fair bit of movement skills to keep up with fast type classes and didn't abuse the mention of teleportation. Not only this type of utility can be problematic it also can and already being abused those who mains professions that has a lot of teleportation utility. best obvious example would be deadeye, the amount of engage and disengage capability is pretty insane. and before people say "deadeye is easy, deadeye is hard to use or deadeye is balanced" most players that fights against it as in 70% of the player base that fights against it find themselves frustrated. Winning against one either means the player using deadeye has skill issue and other is that it takes too much effort to defeat one. Professions that has no teleportation or at the very least does not pick a utility that has one is in a very disadvantageous state. immediately taking massive damage without any telegraph or very little time to react to it is also frustrating. Guild wars 2 when it comes to movement is definitely in a sense "junky" and "clunky" to almost unresponsive 50% of the time. For example Warrior, that has no teleportation (not counting the gun blade 5 considering not only it roots you but also only has 150 range) for a profession that is supposedly easy to use it is extremely hard to use against professions and monsters that has massive 1 second burst. In all honesty of all the MMORPG i have played, Swtor, ESO, throne and liberty, archage, wow etc. Even in korean or asian games which heavily featured fast and flashy movements gave every class or professions they make have movement skills that can keep up with other class or professions that heavily relies on speed. Guild wars 2 punishes slow professions and classes and honestly has become frustrating. Don't get me wrong as while guild wars 2 is fun and the combat system is unique than most MMOs, I find it being feeling on either slow engagements and fast engagements, one in a massive disadvantage. I don't feel like there's a middle ground unfortunately. Of course I know that ANET will not replace teleportation as changing would drastically leave a problematic rebalancing and skill change nightmare, also as players who mains that has lots of teleportation utility would be very upset at them. But hopefully ANET would make teleportation utility as "High risk Big reward" rather than "low risk still Big reward" Like a 1 second animation telegraph to give players a chance to react against it. after all unlike other movement skills, teleportation can go through walls, being able to get high up on higher terrains as well as being able to teleport inside enemy shield domes or wall barriers. Hopefully ANET would take notice of this but of course I highly doubt it but still. For now I'm going to play ESO and throne of Liberty for as a warrior lover feel very under utilized in guild wars 2. Have fun Folks.
  10. Give necromancers hammers that summons undead ghosts that rises from the ground and attacks enemies when hammer hits the ground!
  11. give mesmer longbow that summons longbow phantasms!
  12. Give us huge gauntlets that has fair bit of mobility and damage!
  13. Give warrior a good range weapon that doesn't break its immersion as warrior!
  14. Only way to make rifle better is to go full on REDNECK LET'S GO! 1:auto attack: Shoots 3 projectiles every 1 sec (500 range) 2:replace volley with: 4 continues 3 projectiles shots that inflicts vulnerability each shot. 3.replace brutal shot with: 300 range projectile that damages and also gives 5 stacks of bleeding. 4:replace rifle butt with: a leap of 700 range hitting an enemy with the weapon that also gives cripple. 5:replace kill shot with: a powerful cone like area of effect range of 600 that explodes said area giving might and slightly pushes you back like off hand pistol. 6:replace explosive shell with: a 1 and a half sec charge that deals lots of damage in a line that pierces with 800 range, damage increases the closer they are. 7: GIVE US A CIGAR WHILE AT IT!
  15. Please just stop it, Why do you even put beta players with non beta? You know very well non beta just do not want to be matched up with obviously unbalanced beta players.
  16. First of all Spellbreaker IS definitely for PVP no doubt about that. But what about berserker? Well it's not necessarily terrible, in fact in terms of PVE it is very useful and more versatile than both bladesworn and spellbreaker. By versatile i meant berserker can have a lot more viable builds than both advance professions. So why does it lack in terms of pvp? Well the reason being is not only is that spellbreaker IS better when it comes to pvp. but rather berserker perks ALMOST entirely relies on berserker mode. Most of it's perks are only viable when you're on berserker mode, since berserker abilities are highly telegraphed and rather easy to dodge or canceled. Berserker isn't really bad per say at all in pvp. it's just that in the current meta, it's overall lacking and hard to compete with the current meta professions today. I think it would better if they replaced or integrate the perks that would benefit the berserker while in non-berserker mode. I know it may be ridiculous to do that since the point of berserker is to go berserk but honestly it does it need some tweaking.
  17. Almost every professions has teleport now, it even surpasses eastern mmos when it comes to teleportation skill tropes. the amount of outright spam skills and professions in this game makes even BDO combat look more sensible and balanced. Even Professions that isn't suppose to have teleportation...for some reason the devs thought that by giving everyone teleportation would make the game look "cool". Like jesus christ, the targeting tab is worst than WoW's targetting mechanic. Hey devs, how bout you just give everyone and every class 1200 range teleportation? Maybe give pets spammable teleportation too or mesmer clones 1500 range instant attack teleportation. Why don't you also give mechs 3000 damage auto attack? considering the game is so unnecessarily chaotic.
  18. Now we all know as warrior mains or at least players who plays warrior on the side that discipline is an absolute must to almost all builds. Now the question is maybe is....Why is it so important? 1. Is because mainly of the adrenaline system. Warrior is absolutely reliant on adrenaline. to make the best damage out of your skills but there is a downside for this. You cannot burst on the go much like tempest elementalist, soulbeast ranger, or infinite combat initiave to get close to enemies like daredevil thief. Warrior is a "build up" combatant. meaning you need more engagements in order to deal damage, you cannot burst on the first go of combat. Discipline in a sense compensates for the adrenaline, because of it's 75% adrenaline restoration upon using a burst. 2. The Cleansing of the discipline trait. Now "brawler's recovery" is a simple but highly effective trait. In a game where even the most basic skills has debuffs. Now "cleansing ire" can be a good substituted, however brawler's recovery is simply much more convenient since cleansing ire is dependent on adrenaline. 3.The combat mechanic of warrior is highly dependent on it's weapon switching. Warrior in some sense has barely good weapon skills, some of them are outdated, some are animation clunky, some are simply hard to use when it only has 130 range on most of it's skills. Since range for warrior is basically bad or barely working and warrior is very up close and personal profession compared to other professions where range is above average or so. 4.The importance of discipline leaves other traitlines comparatively small and overshadowed by said traitline. For example. arms in a sense is not necessarily bad, it is pure damage traitline. how ever that is also it's downside. it has no defensive trait in a game where bunker players dominates most field. Discipline has both defensive and offensive capabilities making it highly important to the warrior's mechanic system. Now i don't really want the discipline traitline to change at all, i simply want other traitline to be more workable. Most builds i have absolutely relies on the discipline traitline because other traitline just seems to be contribute very small compared to discipline. Either they need to buff and change most of the traitlines or change the warrior mechanic, how ever changing the warrior mechanic is highly unlikely and Changing traitlines is simply just a maybe.
  19. Now i do get that range for warriors isn't exactly "warrior" thing to do, as almost every mmo warrior isn't meant for range. However, in guild wars 2 which every professions has range capabilities, warrior seems to have the worst range capability out of all the professions. The best range weapon warrior seems to be simply the bow, which is barely working and is being hindered by it's incredibly slow projectile speed and overlacking utilities aswell as damage. Rifle, is not exactly "impossible" to use, but in most situations it is simply not enough. Now revenant i think has the second worst range capability and that is the hammer, but can be compensated with the renegade profession and it's amazing short bursts utility. Warrior doesn't really have much viable build for range capabilities, yes i have seen some youtubers that makes the rifle and bow "works" sometimes but it takes alot more effort to work effectively than other professions. Almost in both pve and pvp, every professions has range as their sub weapon. Most warriors i know of including myself rarely use the range weapon that is available to them. I do not want to sound rude, but developers thinking giving it a small percentage of damage and 1 more added ammo will simply not work, i think it is simply best to overhaul the range weapons for warrior entirely.
  20. why does this even exist? this trait is either useless or very underwhelming. Why can the devs just make the burning on bow automatically? why do i even need this trait for a condi weapon to have condition damage? This trait has been ignored for a very long time and it has been very useless
  21. The f1 mace and hammer still doesn't have damage unless you go berserker f1
  22. "Sir, it seems the balance patch this time around is pretty decent" Few weeks later "Sir, the player base seems to be happy with the patch" "Happy? Oh no we can't have that." Few weeks later another balance change "Sir, the player base seems to be angry this time" "PERFECT"
  23. I have to disagree on the "unbeatable" shout sworn. 1 v1 shoutsworn with melee and condi builds is almost impossible to win against since it has very good close combat utilities, condi against shoutsworn is extremely difficult since shoutsworn can constantly cleanse condi bombs every 10 seconds. Only way to defeat bladesworn is kitting with long range weapons, dead eye and core ranger is effective against bladesworn. As for the artillery slash spam, i would say that's basically a myth, it can be dodged and blocked rather easily.
  24. It's not "Bad" per se. Warrior IS balanced but that's also pretty much the problem. It is incredibly balanced it's just that other professions are too overtuned and warrior class doesn't really have a "definite role". Half of the traits are just not worth using or doesn't really have any place for any build at all even in PVE. Developers simply cannot decide a "specified role" for warrior because of it's balance, since it is quite easy profession to use. It's profession easy to play hence all the "low damage" ,after all if the profession is easy to use with "high damage" then the other professions would be outshined by warrior. I mean why play other professions that are difficult to use when you can use a easy class with ridiculous damage? I think the main problem with warrior is that half of the traits really needs a total rework, the builds are the same for last 4 years without much change since there isn't really much to build cause of the traits. The second one is the no damage stuns, since then this hurt warrior the most, since before the no damage stuns, despite having relatively few viable builds was an absolute beast because of it's constant stuns and damage along with it. I think putting no damage for stuns was a huge mistake, they could have just removed it's critical chance from those stuns instead. Warrior heavily relies on it's combo than most other professions, Stuns were part of those reliability. We all know the "nerfs" for other professions will simply not work , buffs and reworks for warrior is practically the best option while maintaining other profession's viability.
