  1. It's not "Bad" per se. Warrior IS balanced but that's also pretty much the problem. It is incredibly balanced it's just that other professions are too overtuned and warrior class doesn't really have a "definite role". Half of the traits are just not worth using or doesn't really have any place for any build at all even in PVE. Developers simply cannot decide a "specified role" for warrior because of it's balance, since it is quite easy profession to use. It's profession easy to play hence all the "low damage" ,after all if the profession is easy to use with "high damage" then the other professions would be outshined by warrior. I mean why play other professions that are difficult to use when you can use a easy class with ridiculous damage? I think the main problem with warrior is that half of the traits really needs a total rework, the builds are the same for last 4 years without much change since there isn't really much to build cause of the traits. The second one is the no damage stuns, since then this hurt warrior the most, since before the no damage stuns, despite having relatively few viable builds was an absolute beast because of it's constant stuns and damage along with it. I think putting no damage for stuns was a huge mistake, they could have just removed it's critical chance from those stuns instead. Warrior heavily relies on it's combo than most other professions, Stuns were part of those reliability. We all know the "nerfs" for other professions will simply not work , buffs and reworks for warrior is practically the best option while maintaining other profession's viability.

  3. Most of the times the gemstore weapons isn't worth it because the colors doesn't really match.
  4. Hard to find the perfect weapon that suits the color of my armor and aesthetics.
  5. Now i like lots of different weapon legendaries but when are we gonna get new armor legendaries for each armor category? There's been only one Legendary armor for each armor categories so far. Would want more armor please
  6. The charging of dragon stance should be instantaneous. Not being able to dodge and be placed in one spot is too risky and too small of a reward. The damage is just not rewarding enough. gathering flow is also extremely slow making the burst skill not as convenient as other specs. Would be fine if the damage is still the same so long the charging is instant instead of having to wait 5 seconds to get to full charge as other specs doesn't need to wait for 5 seconds to have the same bursts damage as dragon stance.
  7. Why am I not Suprised they would add a necro spec that is obviously broken? Harbinger, a very mobile tanky damage dealing spec. With a extremely spam heavy no cool down range skill 1 that is faster than dagger thief. either the developer's on crack or they just gave up on balance.
  8. Warrior has been abused and molested by Anet who wants to trash warrior than it already has. More nerfs than buffs as if the profession wasn't dead enough already. Feb patch when CC was unjustly killed, a day when Anet gave warrior the middle finger. The years of neglect when warrior needed rework and updated stats on it's weaponry, poor traits and utterly neglected utilities especially the utilities of special professions. From a good dualist to slave support that can barely keep up with other support builds. Warrior is not weak but compared to other professions it is easily over shadowed by everything in every role. No justice was presented for warrior for years now. I really want to play the game, it's special. But when the class that i have mained for years aswell in other MMOs. Warrior in this game just makes me give up. I know warrior will receive it's rightful buffs one day. But currently i just cannot handle it, there's nothing makes warrior stand out from the other professions. When ever i play GW2 warrior feels the same way as attending a funeral, Depressing.
  9. What's the point of this post? Do you really think Anet's gonna listen? They don't. They've neglected warrior for over 4 years now with barely any buffs and more nerfs. Nerfed to the ground and still keeps nerfing it. Any one who mains warrior in every other MMO can easily say GW2 warrior is the most garbage class they've played. Imagine a warrior that is supposedly a dualist in any mmo game gets reduced into support slave, even as a support other classes over shadows the kitten thing. No respect for Anet as they don't have any respect for warrior.

What playstyle? the "playstyle" you mean by using a necro to farm a certain area with absolutely no effort? not even a single push of a button for 6 hours while minions do all the work? being able to get 50 gold without even looking at your screen the whole day? your kind of "playstyle" isn't supposed to be abused anyway

Wow so many condi mains here, no wonder Spvp is now terrible, been playing cleanse power tanks for months against condis Condis don't take much skill , most condis are also range, it requires more effort against bunker condis than bunker powers even even experienced power players needs more effort fighting moderate players using condi builds

Condi has too much player debuff and too annoying to cleanse, not only that they made condi users have tanky stats Condi being able to easily spam large amount of debuffs with so little effort is incredibly frustrating Power bursts are meant to be the main damage and condi should not equal that damage but rather it should be for support only Power does not have any side effects as condi does for example torments Power users are now forced to use Tank builds that has cleanses but does not deal a fair amount of damage Even though a player uses a cleanse build condi spamming still does more damage than it should Condi tanks can still deal large amounts of damage while talking a large amount of punishments from power and even against other condis which is highly unfair Power against condi users will have more trouble fighting. the only way to fight condi is another condi user making power against condi pointless Cleanse users has a hard time fighting back against condi users Bunker condi has become a literal plague on Spvp
  14. Or if the stats in armors IS different like heavy and light armor stats, we should atleast be able to wear armor appearances using wardrobe.
  15. Let's all be honest here, most of the Armor sets looks very lame or just plain wacky. Like the Light armor sets looks so derpy. I don't like the outfits in gem store, you can't make it look the way you want. I'm fine with more Gem store armor set skins, it will make more profitable for the developers. I like the game, but korean MMO armors looks so much better, it actually feels like you're a powerful looking character. In gw2 the appearance looks like they are performers in a circus than someone who is supposed to be the hero. It would be great if they allow like warriors to be able to wear light or medium armor sets, after all the stats of heavy armors isn't really different from that of light armors. Make a beta or test server to allow all professions to be able to mix and match all armor sets, heavy armor sets mixing with light and medium armor sets and see how it turns out. One of the reasons why i don't play light armored professions often is because of how light armor looks, it's so lame. so yeah. would be better to able to do that.
  16. You know what Anet big mistake was? instead of just nerfing the damage of CC by 50% they just over nerfed the damage by 95% What the hell was Anet Thinking? Did they really think making CC to have have NO DAMAGE was a good idea? The Nerf absolutely trashed warrior from a good dualist that actually felt like a warrior, into nothing more than a punching bag. They Made warrior a "survivalist". Even as a "survivalist" it barely keeps up with the other specs that has better survivability because of it's utilities. I'll be honest, GW2 warrior is the WORST warrior that in any MMO i have played, Hell, even Runescape warrior builds felt more like warrior than this sorry excuse. And honestly i don't think the balance team EVER played warrior right now, if they did they NEVER would let it become this bad. I Doubt Anet would ever revive warrior from it's grave, i never saw the developers Revive something from the dead. Good job Anet, You just killed, spitted and pissed a once beloved class. Also good job for Proving yourselves to be untrustworthy of doing good decisions, you barely talk to your own community or even listen to this point.
  17. The hard Nerf on CC (even it was long time ago) had made warrior extremely weak at anything when it comes to competitive PVP, and i really don't see Anet Reviving the warrior ever. It has become the most frustrating class to use in PVP because of it's extremely clanky movements, underwhelming damage and outclassed by every other classes and it has no definitely role. Anet has made warrior a "survivalist" meaning it has more HP and armor than the rest of the classes but if it's so frustrating to use either way the role is just not worth playing.

  19. I'm going to be honest, It does do big damage in PvE but very bad in PvP. You should be able to use Dragon Trigger without using the Gun Saber considering It's in Sheath stance. Off Hand Pistol is simply horrible and needs rework Since it will just be Over shadowed by all of the other Off hand weapons. Dragon Trigger should not be charging because The stationary stance makes you very vulnerable To any attacks, Instead should be instantly loaded base on how much flow you have. Gun Saber Skill 2 is just terrible and greatsword 2 is much better dealing damage. The whole damage output of the Spec is simply terrible. A lot needs to be changed for Blade Sworn before it's official release or Anet will have a lot of angry and very furious Warrior mains.
  20. Bladesworn dragon stance needs a buff. Core burst has more damage than dragon stance. or make loading the charges faster.
  21. In short , Warrior is just moderate in PVE and below average in PVP, Attacks are slow and very easy to dodge. Utilities well most of them are utterly useless and definitely needs reworks on most of it's utilities for PVE and PVP wise, in PVE warrior has become nothing more than a banner slave, whether people like to admit or not that is all warrior is worth in PVE. in PVP....wow is it has become terrible, I remember when Warrior was not exactly too strong but it was still strong, Now.. It's in a very sad state in PVP. very slow telegrahps that even a newbie can dodge it's attacks, builds are very limited for PVP that even though it has the largest weapon arsenal that it can use, the lack luster buffs and traits in most of it's specs makes those large arsenal of weapons useless. The berserker spec cannot be used in PVP, even if it was it's -300 toughness( which is a lot) makes it a spec that can't allow itself to be hurt even though it is a damage dealing spec for close combats since it's range weapons are just blatant terrible. Even as support or damage role for PVP warrior is simply outshined by other classes that has better support builds. They say warrior is the most "balanced" class in the game But because of it's "balance" that other classes over shadows it. Some people will disagree with this because some just hated the warrior before the CC nerf (by which heavily affected warrior in lots of ways). Some would say warrior is in a "good" place. but said "good" place is that only because of it's banners for PVE and just a CC no damage support for PVP that can barely keep up as a duelist in plat and above matches. Developers, Let's face it, no longer has intentions to remove warrior in it's terrible state. Because, 1 They cannot Rework or touch warrior traits without having to do the same to the other classes, 2 is that because of it's CC nerf (dealing no more damage in PVP) Everyone who mains other than warrior before the CC nerf complained too much for it's long duration CC chains doesn't want warrior to shine again, 3 is that the developers Can not nerf or remove the other classes traits because of course players who mains other classes will get mad that the traits and skills that makes their classes strong is touched. And So Warrior will never be again stand as one of the rest of the classes because of it's "balanced" class.
  22. Warrior Swords and Bow as a Damage & Condition type weapons are...In a understated word "Lacking". I know it is meant as a balance type weapons, as it is concentrated as both Physical Damage and Condition Type Damage. However because of such idea of "balance" for the weapons, The Skills and Mechanic of the weapons are Underwhelming. First of are the "SWORD" mechanics. Warrior Swords abilities are mobile Close range Damage & Condition Radius type purpose weapon, It is a weapon to quickly get closer to the target and keep the target from fleeing away. However It lacks The necessary Damage that it usually do and It's default Special ability is very underwhelming and a rather Slow mechanic. Here are my reasons as to why it needs a rework to most of it's abilities. 1. It's special ability (Flurry) needs quite a few requirements to hit an enemy either by knocking them down first or immobilizing them with a utility before using flurry or be ahead of a fleeing enemy before casting flurry. It also makes you stand in place while the ability is casting making you temporarily Immobilized. The flurry's mechanic is rather Pointless to both PvP and PvE , For PvP it is rather hard to land Because of it's very small reach(130 range) And most players Tend to have an ability, trait, utility and Boons to prevent/ escape them from being immobilized Which can be frustrating at times since Most of your Flurry's ability would not be able to dish out it's full damage to the enemy or at least most of it's damage. Making it as one of the hardest abilities to land in PvP. As for PvE uses, Well, the Immobilization Rather Tends to be Pointless as most Mobs will simply Aggro to you and most of them will simply stand there once they are in a certain range to attack you and very few mobs would actually try to flee only to come back and attack you. 2. It's Third ability(Final Thrust) Although it is not an overly bad Ability, it lacks specialty. Final Thrust's ability is rather simple, you stab the enemy, damaging and making them bleed, if they are half health you damage and bleed them more, simple enough right? Well that is rather the problem, It's too simple, You make up for the ability's damage by spamming the sword's first ability (Sever Artery, Gash and hamstring) and the only difference will be that it takes 2 seconds longer. Hence Final Thrust needs to be replaced for a little more special mechanic. 3. It's Forth ability(Impale and Rip) The ability is rather underwhelming at least and tend to be outclassed by other sub weapons. The ability's mechanic(impale) is to throw your sword at the enemy slowing and dealing torment damage and then if you get close enough to the enemy while being impaled you can rip the sword out and dealing Physical Damage. Impale Is rather good ability to slow down enemy and following it up with the second ability (savage leap), however it is not that necessarily needed as warrior axe third ability (Throw axe) and Warrior Mace's Fifth ability (Tremor) Seems to have a better mechanic to Slow or Knockdown your enemy, making Impale and Rip not as needed. 4. The Final ability would be it's last ability (Riposte) It is rather used a defensive spike ability. Riposte's ability is pretty similar to that of "parry" . If you block an attack By melee or if you are in range for the parry to activate, you attack them back dealing Physical and Bleeding damage, If you are being attacked in range you will continuously block the projectiles until you either get close enough for the parry to work or if you haven't gotten in range for parry to activate, it will instead give you a rather small amount of adrenaline when it ends. Seems pretty reasonable right? Well kind of, Reason being is because it is easily overshadowed by the warrior shield's abilities (Shield bash and shield stance). Sword sub weapon's abilities" tends to be underwhelming in PvP too as it does not really give much damage output and defensive input for a good play especially against Trapper type Professions such as Dragon Hunter and Ranger. Now for the Second Weapon, The "Longbow" Mechanics. Warrior Longbow Abilities are a Range Semi Condition Damage Dealing Hybrid type, A weapon that stands between Physical and Condition damage, Able to Damage in a certain range and giving a rather large radius Burning damage as it's special ability, Although it's problem lies for it's "balance" in damage and extremely slow Projectile attacks. 1. The First Problematic ability(dual shot) is it's first ability and supposed natural trait(Crack shot) and the projectile speed. There are Two problems with this ability, One is that it does not naturally come with a burning condition damage, if you want to deal out it's true basic damage is that you need the crack shot trait from discipline to add the burning effect, By which I personally think should've been added naturally to it's first ability as it is supposedly based for Condition based Weapon even though if it is a Physical & condition hybrid weapon. The second problem is the projectile speed, Although I understand why it is so slow, after all dual shot ability shoots TWO projectiles, However the two projectiles can easily miss against a side stepping spam player 400 range away or a fleeing enemy that is 750 range away, because of it's slow projectiles Even shooting 800 range away( within the initial range of the dual shot ability) the ability would simply go "out of bounds" once they flee beyond that range. 2.The Second ability (Fan of fire), I find these rather hard to understand or deal out it's true damage without getting close, which defeats the purpose of a range weapon especially for a longbow type weapon. The Fan of Fire ability shoots out 3 fire arrows in a triangle shaped radius, Now the problem lies with it's triangle shaped projectiles, it is difficult to hit all 3 of the arrows without having to get close as 200 range, The ability is designed to hit multi targets, although even it's initial purpose it is rather still hard to land shots on multiple targets. 3.The Third ability (Arcing arrow) Is a very slow moving Physical AoE Damage ability. There are two problems for this ability, at least for me. One is that it is very slow and has a small radius, In PvP, enemy players can see the projectile coming by looking at the red circle, hence can be dodged or just move away from the ability, making it rather hard to hit. Two is it's projectile speed, I mentioned it in my first example for the ability, it is very slow. 4. The 4th ability (Smoldering arrow) Although I don't really have a problem with this ability, but I think it can still be better. Now that I have explained my dislikes and thoughts about the Warrior Swords and Longbow Abilities. I would like to recommend some rework ideas for the mentioned weapon's abilities The first would be the Sword abilities. 1.Flurry Into "Blinding Slash" Slashing your enemies eyes Dealing Physical and bleed damage while also blinding the enemy, However if the target is not facing you It will only deal Physical and bleeding damage. Range: 130 Cool down: 8 seconds 2.Final Trust into "Foot Stab" Stabbing your enemy's foot, Dealing Physical Damage and immobilizing them. Immobilized Duration: 2 seconds Range:130 Cooldown:8 seconds 3.Impale and Rip into "Whirl Slice" A movement attack Ability that slices the enemy's leg while passing through like "whirlwind attack" with a smaller radius and range, crippling and bleeding them. Cripple Duration: 4 seconds Range: 400 Radius 130 Cool down: 12 seconds 4.Riposte into "Savage Slash" A Powerful slash that takes 1 second to charge, Slashing through armor dealing heavy damage and giving vulnerability to the target Range:130 Cool down: 17 seconds For the warrior Longbow abilities I would like to change, I also have an idea for the "crack shot" trait. 1. Dual shot into "fire shot" Fires a single flaming arrow, dealing physical and burning damage to foe. Range 900 2. Fan of fire into "Explosive Incendiary arrow" Fires a single projectile, when hits an enemy it explodes, Burning the target and burning nearby foes. Can become Ammunition type ability. Range 900 Impact radius: 400 Count Recharge: 12 seconds Cooldown: 4 seconds 3. Smoldering arrow into "Cover smoke" Fires a slow moving AoE projectile with a small radius, blinding foes that is within the smoke and will keep blinding so long as foes are within smoke for a small duration. Can become Ammunition Type ability. Range:900 Pulses: 3 Impact Radius :380 Duration: 3 seconds Count Recharge:13 seconds Cool down: 5 seconds 4. Pin Down into "Tangling shot" Fires a Roped arrow that cripples foes, The farther the enemy flees the longer the duration cripple effects Range: 500 Cripple duration based on range : 500(2 seconds), 600(3 seconds) 700(4 seconds) Cool down: 20 seconds I also want to change the trait "crack shot" into "Extra Ammo" Giving rifle and longbow ammunition type abilities More ammo. This are my thoughts and recommendation if Anet someday Decide to rework some of the abilities of warrior sword and longbow. Thank you for reading. -JinONplay

I Don't know where to begin with this, Guild wars 2 warrior, maybe the worst class in any MMO i have played, Continuous Unnecesarry Nerfs after Nerfs, Clunky and outdated weapon and utility animations that hasn't been updated for 4 years, Very Few Builds that can actually help it's class, without discipline it's basically useless as it heavily relies on such trait, it's weapon range and utilities are so small, that you can barely hit anything, In PvP It's been reduced as a main support class. Hammer and CC got nerfed hard that against classes that has long term stability and perma stability deals absolutely nothing, No damage and no Knockdown, SB is the only reliable profession for warrior although it is still mediocore. Warrior must be reworked.
  24. The thing is, warrior has been nerfed and ignored or abused by incompetent developers who has no interest in fixing that is obviously a dying class. Guild wars 2 warriors are nothing more than punching bags now.
  25. most other classes deal 10k in 2 seconds, axe skills and it's f1 are easy to dodge cause it's slow as hell
