Hey, guys. There's a big piece of Lore gap between the end of Zhaitan to Scarlet's War to LWS2. I really want to enjoy the full story. So is anyone wanting to do the LWS2 storyline through and watching the cutscenes too? I don't mind not receiving the rewards and stuff. I am new and it is so costly to purchase all the Living World 2 season episodes. I understand there's youtube too but i did that for Scarlet's War and it isn't that immersive if you aren't actually present in that case. I can also help you in terms of dps but i am kinda new hahah If this information helps: I am GMT+8 timezone / UTC+8. I play around nights at my time.

Since EoD is an expansion revolving more exposure for Asian like culture. I suggest that the game introduce asian type weapon skins to match similar weapons. The difference won't be vast. For example, a tonfa can be used as a mace or a short sword. It's a pleasant effect since the animation when using a tonfa is linear to the abilities used for short sword combat. Tonfa is a nice touch to the asian culture, it is a weapon used in traditional fights back in the dynasty era. Hi all! Recently, a few days ago, i've reached lvl80. I've watched a few videos here and there. It seems there's alot i can do at this point. It would help to find a guild that is welcoming to new players, and can teach me the ways of lvl80. As there's alot of things to do like Fractals, Dungeons and World Bosses, i'm not sure where to start at the moment. For now, i'm going to finish my persoonal story and complete the map. The map Lornar's Pass has a sublocation called Demon's Maw. There is a vista point at the tip of the mountain rock. When you look from the slight North of the mountain, you can see the opposite mountain clipping itself over and over while moving your camera. My graphics is set on High so that isn't the problem. I'm new to this game still, so this suggestion might have been added in this thread, or otherwise. I think there needs to be a revamped version of Friends List/ Contacts. The design on the UI is a nice touch, however the contact list is really difficult to use in the sense that it does require you to pay attention to who you interact heavily with because you can easily get anyone in your friends list / contacts. Because people who add you are directly made as Followers, there is no notification or whatsoever, my first encounter to this mechanic made me feel really bad because i didn't pay attention to the mechanic of the contact list, thus ignoring someone without knowing that he added me. That means, your contacts list is living up to its name, full of contacts. However it should be at the consent of the other party by giving them a notification on request. Then, it would be better for both parties as people won't forget who is this on the contact list and such. Yes i think this happens often in the long run because you have added too many people I understand Nickname is a very useful tool to seperate who you know and who is this. But, it doesn't provide a category list for the Contact List. It just renames the contact, which is very bleak. If there's a category, it would help if there's a category creation option. it makes organising the contact list thousands of times easier. Definitely. It does not have to focus heavily on roleplay, that'd be great too. It can be a combination of many other aspects of the game. All in all, i just want to find a community that appreciates Lore in this game so i can discuss and talk about those content. My home select is Underworld if it helps. Currently a new player, and a Lore enthusiast!

So as a Core Account holder i can only play up till Chapter 2 and everything else is locked behind the expansions even if i buy them from the Gem Store?

I've been using a salvage method i found on Discord. Where i salvage the blue and lesser with Basic, then i sell the Masterwork + i get, unless its Orange or Yellow i keep for now. Although i haven't got any of those Orange or Yellow ones 😂

Someone mentioned this in the Discord but i forgot! Yes another useful tool. I will take note of this, normally i have the habit of just whipping out my browser because of other games.😂 Out of habit

Thanks! Noted as well. I am playing on 230ping so that might be the case. A player told me that the exchange rate can be changed by simply pressing on the amount, the preset amount was 400 and i thought it was unchangeable. haha my bad on this one i overlooked that! I am very close to the goal now that i have found the rate for 300gems, and i will monitor the rate closely as i go like you mentioned. Thanks!

That's right, sorry my bad on that! I was too focused on the minimal which was 400 without looking that there is custom exchange. This has made my goal easier, thank you! Gifting is also an option i know, and that's allowed too! I shall edit my main post. Edit: I have pressed custom exchange but it does not show or let me input a custom amount so i can't know roughly how much is 300 at the moment but the minimum of 400

So we have to purchase in-game storylines as it progresses but the main storyline is free right? Do we have a guidelines of how to do the story in order so we know which storyline to purchase? Because it sounds confusing at this moment for me haha. What do you mean by whiplash moments, does that mean Core has storyline difference from f2p?

TL;DR ( is that how you use this): My desire would be a Quaggan Backpack (Blue). I am currently saving up to buy it when it is up in the store. I would need 76 Gold Coins to exchange to 300 GEMS and then wait for the Plus Quaggan Backpack, which is the Blue Quaggan version to come out from the gem shop. (EDIT: Yes i have found a way to custom exchange, that means i can change exactly 300 GEMS to buy the backpack once it's been released) It would also help by gifting rather than donating gold for my goal (no pun intended). I just noticed that, thanks @Embered.5089 (But the thing is i adore the Blue edition of the Quaggan Backpacks, and it is seasonal, so it has to wait, that's why i wanted to save gold for the release of the legendary and holy Blue Quaggan Backpack) It would help alot to donate gold for me to reach my goal My milestone as of now: 76 / 76 Gold Coins. Quaggans also have the motto of Friendship is Magic. Like seriously, they would rather the Centuar and Humans work together to fight alongside against Zhaitan, the ultimate deal. This is all i know for now, currently i'm still a new player grinding my way through lvl80, the max level i think. Quaggans remind me of Guinea Pigs too, cute little creatures widdling and waddling. HAHAHAHA Basically, i found out that there's is such thing as a Quaggan Backpack in Guild Wars 2 when i joined the GW2's Discord server, the discussion was led to talking about Quaggans because of an emote they had there. After that fateful discussion, I WAS SETTLED. I WANT TO PURCHASE A QUAGGAN BACKPACK!!! NOT JUST ANY, THE BLUE ONE. Then, i went to research, to find the quaggan backpack. It is said that there are various types of backpacks, however, they are released in seperate occasions. I'm not sure when will they rotate, but they do. Thus, i dived deeper, and to my horror, i found myself staring at a huge amount of Gold necessary for this backpack... and i was shocked... My love for Quaggans will not wilter, but, it is a far journey for me to reach for a Quaggan Backpack. It costs 300GEMS in the store. When i went to check the GEM currency exchange, the exchange rate was bizarre. I found out that there were gold farms too while diving in research, but those are only available when you reach endgame status of lvl80, and then you can use websites to keep track of events and do them. They are called meta i think. I'm still a low level player... and this goal of mine is REALLY REALLY far from me. However, i do not wish to give up this easily! Thank you for reading!
